Blood. Blood was dripping from my forehead. Panting, I tried to catch my breath. For a minute, I was tempted to look back and see if the Japanese Yakuza was chasing after me.

I muttered a curse, trudging through the quiet street, making sure to hide in the shadows, avoiding all streetlights.

Thinking about them, a brief flashback of my father screaming for me to flee before a bullet passed through his head, instantly ending his life, appeared in my line of vision.

I clenched my hands into fists, sadness and fury burning inside me.

I will make sure that the Japanese Mafia will pay for what they did. 

I will avenge my father. My family.

From this day forward, they have declared war.

And war they shall have.

I think it was a little cute that Margaux Cortez had reacted so rashly when I approached Kevin Reyes.

She's probably wondering why I did.

I knew that Margaux Cortez alone would say no to my proposal. Hence, I needed some form of backup and who should I pick to do that?

Of course, it should be someone close to her. Someone whom I know for sure she'd listen to.

If I could convince Kevin Reyes, it would be easy for him to influence Margaux Cortez.

In my opinion, it was a win-win. I help them hit Takahashi's weakness without him knowing that I'm the one pulling the strings and she gets to avenge her people from what Takahashi has done.

Not only that, she would be able to claim back what Takahashi has taken from her.

Hitomi's stay here is numbered. I know she must be missing her kids so much and I really appreciate her effort to come here.
