A First person story from the game fallout 4. A 18 year old girl and her father get trapped in the wasteland after being frozen for over 200 years, and have to find a way to survive. they come across many new allies, and some things change for them, for better and for worse. This story also contains many other video game additions that I (the author) am a fan of. Some of the games incorporated into this are:  Fallout 4, Mortal Kombat, Titanfall 2, Borderlands 2. There is also a small incorporation of Stranger Things in here. I hope you enjoy, thank you.

The Day The Bombs Fell

We walked up to the Vault door and it opened up for us. We went inside and  the first face we saw was what we thought to be the leader.


"Welcome to Vault 76, I am the overseer of this Vault. For safety reasons you will need to place your weapons on the table. Feel free to ask me any questions that you have." The overseer told us. We did as she asked and asked her our questions. 


"Sure what do you need?" The overseer asked.


"We need help into The Institute. We need to find my son. He was lost when the bombs fell, but we need to get him back. We believe he is in The Institute, so if you help us we'll be on our way.


"We will help you as best we can but our primary mission is to help the Commonwealth?" The overseer asked us.


"We will destroy The Institute and any other threats to the Commonwealth. If it's gone then the world will have a better chance of survival." 


"The Brotherhood of Steel is also a problem." 


"Then we'll destroy them too," Dad decided. 


"I'm in where do we start? Well help you get into The Institute but will only help you destroy it if you don't find other help first." The overseer asked.


"Okay, we have a Courser Chip, it will let us into The Institute. We just need to activate it." Dad said. A man walked up by the overseer.


"I can activate that chip for you guys." The man told us.


"He will help you, I promise. Let him activate it and you guys will be at The Institute in no time." The overseer told us. I handed the man the chip. He nodded and went to a workbench. He plugged the hard drive into a computer that was on the workbench. Green words started rendering in on the computer when he plugged it in. The man started typing on said computer


"All set," He said as he handed me back the chip and walked away. We turned back to the overseer.


"You guys should go over to the Old North Church. A group called the Railroad would show you where to plug in that chip of yours. They know more than we do. When your ready to reclaim America let me know, see you later" 


We took back our weapons and walked out of Vault 76 and over to the Old North Church.
