Kuineru

Histoire suffers from short-term memory lapses. She begins life anew with a few lost memories including those of a god, Fiend, who is in love with her. Her best friend is also in love with her, but her love interest is someone who lives in another country. She meets a wealthy young man who happens to be her neighbor and an old school mate she forgot about. Together they face hardships until Fiend returns to her and new problems arise. Histoire forms new relationships with other people, but knowing what their fates are, Fiend gives her an ultimatum: that she can only save one out of the five. Who will she decide is worthy of being saved?

<p>Histoire stepped aside to let the stampede through as the twins excitedly picked up their luggage and entered the house to admire the interior. They were curious to see if it was as extravagant as it was on the outside. While they stood by the door and looked around, Histoire passed a glance at Jotham. It was her facial expression of saying: 'I can't believe you did this without consulting me', and he pursed his lips with a shrug, a way of him saying: 'You would not have approved if I consulted you'. They had known each other for so long that they could read each other's facial cues with perfect precision and understanding.</p>

<p>She closed the door as Keren entered the room and stopped to stare in wonder at the two new figures that had arrived. As Histoire thought, he did not inform Keren either out of fear that she might accidentally reveal his plan to her.</p>
