A Block D Block Im On A Time Clock

We were led to the "Battle Preparation Room" to which Luffy wasted no time in checking out anything and everything he could get his hands on, at the end of it all he was practically nothing but armor. "I doubt you'll even be able to fight in all that armor, let alone have much mobility." Crossing my arms as he moved unstable and robotically. The metal clanking and trembling with every movement, just a small push and the whole thing would come undone. There was sudden commotion behind us when a voice called out to Luffy.

"Hey, you there! You can't wear that. There's a weight restriction on protective gear. Well, no matter what you try, it's useless. I'll be taking the Mera Mera fruit. Yes, it'll suit me quite fine...A truly beautiful ability. Until now, I haven't eaten a devil's fruit and got to where I am without any kind of effort. Just on talent alone." He went on as Luffy seemingly ignored him and worked things out with a guard who told him he was overweight. Sneaking up behind the obnoxiously sparkly guy, setting an arm on his shoulder, leaning onto him while watching Shoto help Luffy begrudgingly part with the jumbled mess of armor.

"Just a little advice, nobody cares. Join the crowd of unworthy people and move along, because all I'm concerned about, is keeping Ace's fruit out of the hands of people like you." Whispering to him in a deathly cold tone, he was about to respond when I clasped a hand over his mouth. Setting my index finger against my lips, hushing him. Taking my hand off his mouth and grasping his neck. My fingertips heating up slightly, I could feel him tremble, swallowing his words. "Stay out of our way, 'kay?" Saying in a lighter, almost cheerful tone. Letting go of his neck before patting his back, he cleared his throat as he called Luffy over to talk.

The guy explained some things and was asking Luffy who he was, my stomach nearly dropped, watching as Luffy open his mouth. Eyes widening while nearly tackling him, covering his mouth while putting on the least awkward smile I could muster before responding "Lucy, his name is Lucy. Sorry, when people ask who he is he tends to...ugh- start fights...It's a bad habit because people tend to make fun of his name…" My brain stumbled for an excuse, Him and Shoto raised an eyebrow at me. Looking down at Luffy who was seemingly confused, the sparkly guy then went on to say how Luffy's name was similar to "Straw hat Luffy" and got heated about his unjustified resentment towards him.

Finally letting Luffy go as he checked with the guard to make sure the helmet wasn't over the weight limit, which it wasn't. Shoto was giving me an unfamiliar look, that of which was making me strangely uncomfortable. Wrapping my arms around the two, Luffy dragged us over to the "Naked Statue" as he referred to it. Saying how he ended up looking like the guy, when a voice notioned a question.

"Do you three have an interest in that man?" The feminin voice chimed, the three of us turned our attention to her as some of the nearby contestants jabbered on about her looks.

"Who are you?" Luffy questioned as she responded,

"The gladiator "Rebecca". Thank you for just now, I hated "Spartan"." She referred to the earlier fight, "And that's a legendary man. The strongest gladiator in the history of the corridacoliseum, "Kryos." He remained undefeated for 3,000 battles. In all those battles, he took only one hit." She said.

"Wow, he was that strong?" Luffy

Rebecca then went on a rant about the statue dude, of which I could honestly not care less about. Sighing while pulling Shoto with me to the nearby wall, I sat down and pulled him into my lap. "Touya-?"

He started to question as I hushed him, "Nap, I have to fight soon and I don't want to fall asleep while the others throw their tissy fits." Mumbling into his shoulder as he relaxed back against me, my mouth tugged up in a small smile as I took a nap.

Turning the map sideways for a few seconds before turning it upside down, I glared at the paper. Groaning and tossing it to one of the lackeys behind me, "Does anyone know where we are?" Turning to the group in question, one of them raised a hesitant hand as I nodded.

"Y-You killed the last navigator on the previous island…" He informed

Staring at him for a few seconds, my hand raised to my neck as my nails scratched irritatedly at the scabbed skin. "God damnit! There's not one useful lackey on this stupid ship!" Grabbing the guy's neck, I sneered at him when a firm grip on my wrist pulled my hand off. Turning a glare to the person, "I really despise this…Endeavor." I spoke with obvious annoyance and displeasure.

"Trust me, I hate this just as much as you. Were this any other situation, I would've captured you the second we met." He informed before letting go of my wrist.

"You're lucky I haven't turned you to ashes yet." I remarked, almost like a question as to why I hadn't simply rid of the annoyance.

"Speaking of that, I know we came to an agreement but. I'm surprised you've actually been keeping your word, why is that?" He dug, probably suspecting some ulterior motive.

"It's fairly simple, Dabi wants to kill you himself and if I did it instead. He would definitely be pissed, I wouldn't know what he'd do. That and he'd leave the league, and considering he's a vital part of our group. That would be worse than a bit of annoyance. Besides, I can't have you die yet. You've got to fall before all the civilians and heroes who brazenly look up to you, then you can die disgracefully." Smiling at the thought as he glared at me.

"Why does Dabi want to kill me so bad?" He asked, to which I chuckled in response.

"Boy does everyone want to know, the guy is so secretive about everything. You know, I asked him the same thing once. He nearly added some fancy burns to my neck, you want to know his response? "Some fucking brutal, blissfully torturous revenge." I hadn't seen him that angry yet crazily happy at the thought, in the entire time he'd been with the league. "I'm not surprised though, the heroes do tend to make the villains. And I'm sure you have your own list of sins that the public would just love." Smirking widely at him, noticing he was seemingly stuck in thought.

Turning my head to the side with a hum "What? You remember Dabi and whatever messed up things you did to him?" Questioning as he left his thoughts, glaring at me.

"No, and according to what I saw of the map, we're in what's called the New World. Since we all seemingly landed here, that means Shoto and the others can't be far." He diverted the conversation.

Sighing with a nod "Hopefully Dabi and the others are together, that would make things easier. Actually, if the heroes and villains are all together then it wouldn't be much of a problem. Other than the possibility of a fight breaking out…" I glanced up at him as he nodded in agreement, "So where do we go next?" questioning the hero.

"Where's the map?" He turned to the lackeys who simply pointed somewhere, following where they were motioning. A very large fish jumped out of the water, someone screamed as they seemingly fell into the mouth of the creature. Looking over at the lackeys, fighting the urge to end them all. "Did he have the map…?" I questioned, already knowing the answer but simply wanting confirmation.

They all nodded as I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, tilting my head back. "GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!!" Shouting out my anger to the sky's of this stupidly vast and condemning ocean…
