THE DEAD ALSO CRY AT THEIR FUNERAL

The rain scratched her naked skin as if hundreds of needles were being stuck all over her body. Evangeline felt very scared, unprotected. She was running naked, in the streets of a town she did not know. It was night, so if she met anyone on the street, her two extra legs would be exposed.

Although she was already dead and had been condemned to hell, she prayed to God for help. She never imagined that sometimes death can be much crueler than life. Life is only an instant, but death is for all eternity.

While Evangeline was running, she saw a group of young people coming in the opposite direction to her. If she went on, no doubt they would see her. Evangeline decided to return, but it was already late, they saw her.

Evangeline tried to run, but they went after her.

"Wait, miss, wait!" They shouted at her.

Without realizing it, the poor girl entered a dead end. She could no longer escape.

"Why are you running away from us. We don't want to hurt you," said one of the three boys as he approached the shaky girl.

"She must be crazy, there is no other explanation. Look at her, she's completely naked." Exclaimed another of the boys.

"She's a monster. Look at her legs." Said the last boy, surprised and disgusted. Hearing this, Evangeline realized that she had to run away from there. She hitted in the face the boy who was closest to her.

"Fucking circus monster!" the boy shouted and grabbed Evangeline by the arm.

"We wanted to help you, but you won't cooperate. You have made me angry. I will show you that we are not to be trifled with. The other two laughed at the same time with a libidinous smile on their faces.

Evangeline had never felt so frightened, not even when she saw Lucifer for the first time or when she first felt the emptiness that death leaves.

"What are you going to do?" Asked her in a choppy voice. Evangeline had been thrown on the wet floor, and two of the boys were holding her tightly while the other one pulled down his pants.

"Don't worry. You have nothing to worry about. The monsters don't have dignity." Whispered the boy. After that, he pounced on her. Not satisfied with this, when the first boy did what he wanted with Evangeline, the second and third boys followed. None of them took pity on her; they sullied her mercilessly.

All her life Evangeline had cried loudly so that all knew her sadness. But this time, she wept in silence, keeping all her sorrow only for her. No one cares about the dignity of a dead woman.

"The best experience of my life." Said the last boy, as he put his pants back on. The other young men smiled. Apparently, their life was so miserable that that barbaric act was the best experience of their lifes.

She was left lying on the ground, sullied, beaten, and with deep pain in her soul.
