Jonah is a 12-year-old boy who has the head of a parasitic twin that failed to develop. At a very young age. Jonah is humiliated, and rejected by all the inhabitants of the village, who give him a fatal beating. Jonah ends up in a circus that is brought from the depths of hell and whose owner is Lucifer. The monsters, who live there, were normal person, who were forced to sell their souls to the Devil and now must spend all eternity as deformed circus monsters.

<p>Evangeline's mind had become a dark place. She was struggling to get out of that place, but there seemed to be no way out. Only darkness and confusion. Sometimes she believed that she was not really dead, that everything she was living was nothing but a cruel nightmare. </p>

<p>Evangeline refused to accept that what she was living was real. Her thoughts were distant. She was beginning to lose her mind. Before she left to fulfill her mission, the worm man warned her to try to relax, for Lucifer enjoyed sending those souls that were losing their minds to hell. He was sure that his stay at the circus was like being in paradise. The in the hell is only crying and gnashing of teeth. </p>
