39. It's Princess Tsunade.

During the walk, Akira wondered if he shouldn't have beaten Sasuke so effortlessly. He saw how destroyed Sasuke looked after his loss but then thought about the numerous fights he would lose in the future. This justified his actions, as he had just taught Sasuke how defeat tastes so that he would be able to cope with all the disappointments in the future. He felt he was already thinking like Sasuke's teacher, teaching him lessons that would stay with him for a lifetime.

Entering the Hokage's Office, Naruto was the one who pushed the gate open and shouted, "Granny Tsunade, we brought the people from Ame."

Akira and the others entered to see Tsunade reading reports at her desk. There was an additional sofa in the room on which two of the most useless people in the village sat, Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane.

Tsunade put the papers down and roared, "Naruto, how many times have I told you to call me Hokage... Ho... Ka... Ge... Do you understand?"

Seeing her anger, Naruto stood straight and gave her a salute, "Yes, Hokage-sama."

Seeing him like this, she looked at Akira, knowing him to be the cause of this mess. "So, you are delegates from Ame?"

Akira, not knowing that, defaulted her rudeness to an age thing. "Yes, Princess Tsunade. I am Akira, this is my assistant Koemi, and these are my disciples Ajisai, Suiren, and Fuyo."

Tsunade calmly sipped her tea. "You don't have to call me Princess; I am now a Kage."

"Oh, I am calling you a Princess to honor your beauty. If you don't like it, I can call you Hokage-sama."

Hearing his cheesy lines, Tsunade spit out her tea and started coughing. Others were surprised by his flattery.

Koharu Utatane interjected, "You are talking to our Hokage. Have some respect. You won't get any favors from her using flattery."

"Favors for flattery? No, no, I only called her Princess because of her beauty. If you were Hokage, I wouldn't use the word Princess," Akira innocently replied.

Koharu Utatane was fuming with anger. It didn't help that Tsunade was smiling. Before Koharu could attack Akira, Tsunade interjected, "It's okay, but now you should call me Hokage."

She was pleased to be called Princess, the title princess was the second biggest thing that connected her to her grandfather, first being their addiction to gambling. But to avoid an argument she decided to make him call her Hokage.

"Okay, Hokage-sama," Akira said, pleased with the situation as he could see Tsunade was in a better mood.

"So, you said your name was Akira. So, I assume you are the one who participated in the assassination of Onoki's disciple?" Tsunade asked.

"Assassination is not the right word. At the start, it was self-defense, and then things escalated," Akira explained.

"Whatever the reason, you were the one leading the charge. So explain to me why I shouldn't just throw you to Onoki as a bargaining chip," Tsunade demanded.

"Well, I don't think he cares anymore. Even if he did, I don't think, as a Hokage, you would use your guest as bait," Akira said confidently.

"Oh, I didn't think an Ame-ninja would think so highly of a Hokage," Tsunade was intrigued.

"No, I have only respect for the First Hokage and you," Akira clarified.

"Oh, not even the Second?" Tsunade thought he was trying flattery again and forgot that the Second was also related to her.

Akira pointed to Tobirama's picture. "Look at his photo. He looks like the kind of guy who would give extra homework to kids for holidays just because he thinks every second of holiday should be used for study."

Tsunade looked at him in confusion. "You know he is my granduncle."

"Yeah, I know," Akira nodded.

"You say whatever you feel, don't you?" Tsunade smiled and asked.

"Not speaking what you think is just acting," Akira answered.

"Oh, so tell me, what does Ame want out of this summit?" Tsunade was interested.

Without missing a second, Akira answered, "Hanzo-sama would like the beast to be killed before reaching the lake surrounding Amegakure."

Tsunade found the request achievable and agreed, "I can try to get the Kages to agree to that."

"Thank you, Prin... I mean, Hokage-sama," Akira bowed in thanks.

"Okay, you can go now. Kakashi, you stay. Naruto, take them to their lodging," Tsunade shooed them away.

"Okay, gran..." Naruto started. Tsunade gave him a glare, making him change his tune, "I mean, Hokage-sama."

"Then we will take our leave," Akira and the others said as they left.

As the door closed, Tsunade looked at Kakashi and asked, "So, what are your observations about our new guest?"

"In terms of physical strength, he is easily jonin level. As for ninjutsu and chakra, he is at the level of an experienced jonin. As for his nature, he seems to be naive and happy-go-lucky. He also likes to show off a lot," Kakashi summarized.

Tsunade spun her chair and looked up, "He is stronger than his past reports. Judging by how our conversation went, I would say either he is too smart or too stupid."

Kakashi remembered Akira's words and observed Tsunade, who was spinning from head to toe.

Jiggle!

Kakashi's nose bled like a rocket exhaust, and his world turned black.

"So, that went well," Akira said, happy with the result.

"Sensei, I never knew you could use flattery to get a favor," Ajisai commented with a hint of contempt. If others knew how Akira treated Konoha's Hokage, it could cause a massive stain on not only his but the village's reputation.

"Don't talk like that, old witch. I will say it again, I only said that because she was beautiful," Akira announced, not liking when someone questioned his motives.

Other than Koemi and Naruto, nobody believed his argument. Koemi believed him because he said so, while Naruto believed him because he had seen this type of behavior before, shown by the legendary pervy sage, Jiraiya.

---------

Entering the inn, they saw their friends from Sand sitting in the lobby. Akira happily greeted them and started chatting with Pakura. In the middle of the chat, he said, "I don't think the words 'Kazekage' suit you."

"Why?" Pakura questioned, not angry because she knew Akira wouldn't say anything maliciously.

"Well, if anyone thinks of the Kazekage, a picture of broody men comes to their mind. After all, it has been the case for about 80 years," Akira explained.

"That is right. Then what is your idea?" Pakura asked curiously.

"A beauty such as you should not be associated with 'Kazekage.' You should be called Princess... Hmm, Princess of Sand," Akira said.

"Oh..." Pakura smiled at his proposal, while Team Ajisai looked at him as a lost cause.
