Chapter 73

Riyu had watched as Hoseok and Yamato- was that his name? Excited Jin's office. She had a smile on her lips, her boy had grown up so fast.

She watched as they walked away before she walked forward and knocked on Jin's office door.

"Yes?"

She pushed the door open, Jin was sitting behind his desk with a smirk on his face.

"Ahh, Mother." His voice wasn't exactly cold but he wasn't entirely happy with her.

"You wanted to see me, darling?"

Jin nodded, "Yes. It is about what I have asked you to do."

She had guessed that it would be about that and his ultimate rise to power. "What about it darling?"

Jin folded his arms, "Are you up to the task?"

Of course, she was up to the task. She had done it before and she would do it again if it meant she could help her boy. "I will not hesitate."

"Are you sure? Daddy always said you were in love with Shito Kazuma."

Yes, she was and always would he but after she realised that she wasn't part of his future plans and that she would lose everything when Yumei stepped out of that house... Made her think twice about what she had given up.

She wasn't about to tell him what she had done to his father, it might not go well or he might decide that she was a liability to his plans. "I was... But I am not in his heart so why should I continue to sacrifice for him?"

Jin liked that answer very much, so his mother had returned to his side. It was going to work out, he was going to gain everything. Power, money, status and a wife.

She might be fragile but he knew that she would be perfect and in time she would come to love him. "Good, we have plans in place to get Yumei and then Mr Kazuma should be no longer with us."

Riyu walked forward and sat down in a chair in front of his desk. "Just tell me when and where I shall be there."

Jin smirked. "On the evening of the party, eight weeks from now when Yumei and Yoongi left for the party..."

She understood without him completing the sentence, she will make it look like an accident or better yet a suicide. So that they might not suspect her, the problem was Jimin and Majima would always be lurking around. "Consider it done."

Jin leaned forward, "After you complete your mission, I want you to be back here at the house."

"What on earth for?"

"So that we can force Yumei to marry me, but if she doesn't want to... We will have to take extreme measures."

Riyu's throat went dry. What was going on in his mind? Was he going to destroy the Kazuma line completely then plan a whole family take over?

This was going to be messy, but that was how the yakuza worked. They didn't always look at the bigger picture of things. "I understand... I will be here."

Jin smiled. "I am happy to have you back mother."

Shito Kazuma was in his office, he had late planning that needed to be done. He was setting up his will, he had an ominous feeling that things might be going wrong.

Come to think of it when he left the living room, he hadn't seen Jimin or Yoongi around. Majima had also disappeared for a while now.

A knock came at the door, "Yes?"

His office door opened, Majima appeared in the doorway. "Sir...-"

Shito saw the expression on his face. Something was terribly wrong. "What is it?"

Majima stepped in and closed the door behind him. "Yumei... Yumei is in hospital and they fear that she might not make it."

Shito felt his heart-stopping for a few seconds. Only earlier they argued, she seemed fine. "What-"

He couldn't complete his sentence, Majima looked at the floor. "She has an infection from leg surgery... Her body is trying to fight-"

'No... No...' He placed his head in his hands. "This can not be happening."

"Do you want me to ready the car?"

Shito shook his head, "No..."

Majima's gazed snapped up to him, what did he mean no? "Sir?"

Shito looked up at him, "There is nothing we can do now... I have a strange request for you."

Majima quirked an eyebrow. "Yes, sir?"

Shito took a deep breath in. "I have this feeling that I am not going to see my daughter alive and free. He held up a letter that he had taken from his drawer. "This-" He held it towards Majima, "Is a letter for Yumei... I want you to give it to her when she is free from this life."

Majima had no choice but to walk forward and take the letter from Shito. He sounded so sure that Yumei will make it, "I promise."

Shito nodded, "I think Riyu might... Do not worry about that for now. Majima make sure Yumei gets that letter no matter what."

Majima nodded and Shito continued. "I am finishing my will. Jimin will take over this family and I am freeing Yoongi of his obligation. That boy went through a lot and he deserves to be free."

Majima nodded again, he was trying to take in everything that Shito was telling him.

"If anything, just get her out with or without Namjoon but preferably with Namjoon. Neu had accepted the proposal, he came to see that this was the best decision."

A smile tugged at Majima's lips. It was the best decision, both of them would never have survived in the world of the Yakuza but one thing he was certain was that Namjoon would be able to take care of Yumei. "I will do as you ask, sir."

Shito nodded, "I have a few things to finish. If something happens, you will find all of my paperwork in the save behind Yunari's picture."

Majima nodded, that was where Shito had put all of the papers he didn't want anyone to read or had to keep secret. So this letter he held in his hand felt a bit heavy, and if he didn't put it in there, it meant he was afraid that it might fall in the wrong hands.

"Thank you, Majima. That is all." He dismissed him and returned back to his will, everything had to be in place when everything went up in smoke.

He had to make his will airtight that Riyu wouldn't be able to put her hands on anything. He let out a sigh and looked up at Yunari's picture. "I am doing this all for you... I will save our little girl even if it meant not seeing her again."

Namjoon blinked at Jimin as he finished his story. He was lost for words, Yumei had been through so much and she had been fighting for herself since day one.

What scared him was that Yumei didn't know about anything that went around in her house, it was cruel to have kept something like this from her.

"So you understand why we had to make sure that-"

"I do... I accept everything no matter what, Yumei deserves happiness and even if she doesn't want me... I will make sure that id her heart is with someone else that I will give them my blessing."

Namjoonw as ranting but he wanted Jimin to know he was serious. Jimin smirked, "What if I tell you the feeling is mutual?"
