Chapter 2: Long Bohai

"Pan Wei! Do you want to die!?" The petite girl growled with a furious face.

"N..n..no." Pan Wei who was acting mighty moments ago replied with a trembling voice. He looked at his own hands as he tried to shake her hands off, yet to no avail. Her hands felt like a great mountain, unshakable.

"Then, why you tried to hurt my big brother?" The petite girl asked with a childish voice.

"Uh! I was only sparring with him." Pan Wei answered quickly with an anxious voice.

"Qin Qing, calm down! There is nothing happened" Qin Yun interfered, trying to stop his little sister.

"Big Brother, he intended to harm you." Qin Qing replied back while looking fiercely at Pan Wei.

"Pan Wei! Do you think I am a fool? Okay, come! Spar with me." the petite girl said in an overbearing manner.

"N..no! No need. I have to go back home. Would you please release my hand?" Pan Wei said with an ugly smile.

"HAHA! How can I let you off this easily?" The petite girl laughed with her big eyes and innocent face.

"W..what do you want?" Pan Wei asked with a panicked expression.

"Nothing much. I had already received one blow from you, so you need to receive one from me. This is only a fair deal. Do you dare?" Qin Qing said, looking directly at Pan Wei's eyes.

"O...Okay. But only one." Pan Wei said with some hesitation.

"Of course. I always keep my own words." Qin Qing said with an honest tone.

"Good! I am ready." Pan Wei said while taking a deep breath. He planned to block the coming punch with his left hand. His right hand was still grasped by Qin Qing.

"I am coming." The petite girl warned. The next moment, she began clenching her right hand into a fist.

"WHOOSH"

A seemingly weak and small punch went towards Pan Wei's face, yet it was incredibly fast. Compared to Pan Wei's earlier punch, Qin Qing's punch was exceedingly much faster.

"BANG"

Pan Wei moved his left hand quickly and blocked the powerful punch. It was actually a successful block. For a second, Pan Wei thought that he had survived and was celebrating inwardly, yet the next moment, Pan Wei screamed in horror. His entire being was sent flying. Even after successfully blocking her punch. The raw force behind Qin Qing's punch was extremely powerful. It was akin to a falling mountain, nothing could stop it.

Seeing him flying through the air, the entire area fell into dead silence. Only Pan Wei's loud scream could be heard. The students looked at each other with horror. This unforgettable scene would definitely stay forever within their memories

"BANG"

Pan Wei had finally landed on the ground with a heavy sound. The impact caused him to give another scream before he fell unconscious.

Qin Yun's lips twitched. All the surrounding students watched with a wide-opened mouth as pan Wei had fainted on the spot. What a monstrous strength. That's what they thought. Sometimes, Instructor Zhang would occasionally tell them some stories about the lives of the most powerful martial artists. "Pan Wei!" The three lackeys who were rooted to the ground earlier had finally reacted. They immediately rushed towards him to checked on him.

"Thankfully, he had only suffered light injuries." One of the lackeys said in relief after inspecting his body.

"Let's carry him back to his home. I don't think he is going to awake anytime soon." Another one suggested.

"Yeah. Let's go." The Three lackeys took back Pan Wei who was still unconscious.

"Big brother! Are you alright?" Qin Qing turned back and asked with concerns.

"Qin Qing, I am okay." Qin Yun replied, feeling warm inside.

"Hmm! Let me check out your body to see if there is any injury." Qin Qing went to her brother.

"Qin Qing! Believe me, there is nothing." Qin Yun said, feeling quite embarrassed. He wished to become a powerful martial artist, yet he needed his little sister to protect him from getting a bad beating. How embarrassing!

"Phew! What a relief." Qin Qing said with a sweet smile. Her brother was born without the ability to use the energy of the cosmos. Those who born with cosmos energy would have the ability to control the natural elements, making them gain superpower abilities.

"Qin Qing, what has brought you here?" Qin Yun wondered. Normally, their grandfather was strict and won't let his little sister roam far away from their house like him.

"Big brother, Grandpa is looking for you." Qin Qing said while blinking her eyes.

"Oh, God! I forgot to clean the armors." Qin Yun slapped his forehead.

"Qin Qing, hurry! Let's go back." Qin Yun said, holding his little sister's hands and running.

Silent Forest Town was a small town located on the northern side of the Black Clouds Kingdom. It has around three thousand residents, most of them were working as farmers. The town was famous for its surrounding green hills where the farms were located.

In the outskirts area of the Silent Forest Town, A wooden house was standing there. Inside it was a slightly plump old man in his mid-fifties. He had short gray hair and was clad in a white robe. The old man was standing while holding a big hummer in his hand. There were some hard sounds as he was hitting a piece of black metal. The old man was Long Bohai, the Qin's siblings Grandfather.

Long Bohai was a rather famous craftsman in the Calm Forest Town as he was both, skillful in his profession and had an easy-going personality, hence The people of the town liked to use his services.

"Grandpa! We are back!" Qin Qing entered the wooden house with a cheerful smile.

"HAHA, grandpa! I forgot to clean up the armors. I will go now." The following Qin Yun said with a cheesy smile.

"Sigh! You were there again!?" Long Bohai stopped hammering and asked with a helpless face. His grandson was quite passionate about swords and martial arts.

"Yes." Qin Yun replied with a nod.

"Okay! Go now and clean the mayor's armors. He is coming tonight to receive them." Long Bohai

"Alright. By the way, instructor Zhang is going to pay us a visit tomorrow."

"Okay."

The house was divided into three parts. The first part was the crafting workshop where Long Bohai is making his crafts. The second part was a small storage room connected to the house where the finished products are placed. The third part was two simple rooms for the two children and their Grandfather. Additionally, there was also a bathroom and a kitchen.

"Crack"

Qin Yun entered the storeroom followed by his little sister Qin Qing. In front of them were Five chest armors placed above a wooden table. Qin Yun simply went on and took out a bottle of oil and a piece of brush from a near cabinet. After spraying some oil on the brush, he began to clean up the armors one by one. Qin Yun moved his hand slowly and carefully. Brushing with oil was a necessary process for the craftsmen to eliminate any impurities, and to make the finished armor looks more polished.

Soon, the five armors began to shine. Their looks had definitely become better.

"Phew!" Qin Yun moved his right hand to wipe off the sweats from his forehead. A satisfied smile was slowly taking a place on his face. Every single armor took from him around half an hour to completely brush it, but it was worth it

"Big Brother, it looks pretty good right now!" Qin Qing praised in admiration.

"Haha! Mostly was grandpa's work. I only made some minor moves." Qin Yun explained truthfully.

"But they looked ugly before." Qin Qing said.

"They weren't ugly from the beginning. they had only needed some polishing to show out their hidden beauty." Qin Yun explained with a smile.

"Hmm, that sounds right." Qin Qing said, nodding her head.

"Okay! Let's go and see if grandpa has finished." Qin Yun suggested.

"Alright."

"Grandpa, I have finished." Qin Yun said after entering with Qin Qing.

"Good, I have finished too. Its time for us to have the launch." Long Bohai said with a warm smile.

"Yay!" Qin Qing jumped with a delighted face.

"HAHA! Qin Qing, go and prepare the table. Qin Yun, come and help me." Long Bohai ordered while patting Qin Qing's head.

"Alright!" Qin Qing said before rushing outside.

"Qin Yun, let's go." Long Bohai said, walking towards the kitchen

It hadn't taken much before a nice food aroma filled the entire house. Qin Qing who was sitting on a rounded wooden table outside the house looked up with excitement. Soon, Long Bohai and Qin Yun got out of the house carrying several dishes. Qin Qing immediately looked at the dishes with sparkling eyes.

"You! don't start before us." Qin Yun pointed at Qin Qing in a warning manner. There were still some dishes that were not brought yet.

"Of course! Of course!" Qin Qing replied with her eyes being glued to the dishes.

"HAHA! She looks extremely hungry." Long Bohai said with a hearty laugh.

"She is always like that." Qin Yun replied back.

They had made a lot of food only for her. What the outsider people didn't know was that she has another talent under her sleeves. And that was eating! Her appetite was just monstrous like her strength. And what was more shocking was that she doesn't gain any extra weight after eating all that food.

"Let's eat." Long Bohai said after placing all the dishes on the table.

"WHOOSH"

Qin Qing who was sitting reacted quickly. She began to devour all the food at an amazing speed. Qin Yun looked at her with a speechless expression. He had already become numb from seeing the same scene every day.

"Qing'er! Eat slowly." Long Bohai said softly from the side. He noticed that Qin Qing was eating quicker than normal.

"NOM! NOM! Okay." Qin Qing replied.

"Qin Yun, did something happened today? Normally, she doesn't eat so quickly like this." Long Bohai glanced at Qin Yun with a probing look.

"Ah! Actually, she had beaten someone today." Qin Yun said with a lowered head.

"Qing'er, Didn't I tell you before to not use your own power." Long Bohai said with a gentle voice.

"NOM! NOM! Grandpa! I didn't want to, but that Pan Wei wanted to hurt my big brother!" Qin Qing said without raising her head from the dish. Her entire attention was on the food

The atmosphere suddenly became silent. No one was talking, but Qin Yun knew that his grandfather was quite angry. He didn't know why, but his Grandfather had always been secretive about Qin Qing's talent. To him, his grandfather seemingly doesn't want anyone to know about it.

"Phew! I am full." Qin Qing said, patting her small belly with a satisfied expression.

"What had I taught you before?" Long Bohai asked calmly with a gentle smile.

"Ah! Yes, washing hands after eating." Qin Qing said. She simply got off from her chair towards the bathroom.

"Grandpa! I am sorry! It was my fault." Qin Yun said with an apologetic face.

"No need to apologies, it was not your fault." Long Bohai replied.

"Still, if not for me."

"Okay, that's enough. She had used her power to protect you, so, I am not angry." Long Bohai said before muttering under his breath "I am just worried."

"Grandpa, is there something wrong!?" Qin Yun asked with concerns.

"Oh! No! nothing. HAHA! I am just worried if she hurts herself while fighting. She is still a little child after all." Long Bohai said before adding "Okay, I am finished, I will go and take some break."

"Alright, go, and have some rest." Qin Yun replied with a small smile.

"Eh?! Where is grandpa?" Qin Qing asked after coming out from the bathroom.

"He is taking some rest. Come, help me wash these dishes."

"Okay."

At the night, Long Bohai was waiting patiently for the mayor. The mayor had asked him to craft five chest armors. One was for him and the other four were for his personal guards.

Soon! Horse footsteps sounded from afar.

"He is here." Long Bohai thought to himself.

"Nigh"

Three horses have arrived and stopped in front of Long Bohai.

"Long Bohai! We are here to receive the armors." A man who looked like the leader of the group spoke out calmly.

"Okay, I will bring it now." Long Bohai didn't take long before coming again with the five armors.

"Here are the armors. Hey! I was wondering, where is the mayor? He had told me last time that he is coming personally."

"The mayor is receiving some important guests right now." The leader responded in a serious manner.

"Oh! I see." Long Bohai said.

"By the way, you better prepare your grandchildren. Those gusts are from a renowned Sect. They had come here to inspect all the children of the town. They are searching for talented children" The leader said with good intention.

"Brother, thank you for the information." Long Bohai said, looking quite distracted.

"HAHA! It was nothing. Long Bohai, we are leaving." The leader said with a laugh before taking his leave.

"Okay!"

Long Bohai watched the three horses slowly disappearing in the dark while muttering under his breath.

"It's time to move again."
