Chapter 7 : The crystal cave

"Wow"

Estacia gasped.

The place she was currently present in was a cave filled with crystals.

It was beautiful. breathtaking. Crystals were present in different rocks.

However. That was not the most astounding fact, it was the skyline above.

It seems the cave was actually open from above; the galaxy was seen from the place Estacia was standing in. Although it was just morning before she stumbled upon this place.

Well. Leaving that aside.....

How am I supposed to get out of here!

Estacia kept thinking of the various possibilities of getting out but all were useless.

Moreover, what about Delmion and Sherwind? Are they alright? The monster? They were definitely not as powerful as that beast. What if they are hurt!

Estacia kept on worrying about her companions but it seems she didn't have to...

*Currently with Sherwind and Delmion*

"Where'd she go?"

Sherwind flew around searching from above while Delmion checked the inscription.

The beast had strangely disappeared in thin air after it was in an attempt to pounce on Delmion.

They both were surprised by the beast's sudden disappearance but soon realized that their friend was actually missing.

"Why didn't you go instead of Estacia to the inscription? After all, Estacia is faster than you which would certainly have helped in distracting the monster."

Sherwind asked. She was aware that Estacia was a total cat filled with curiosity and would go crazy if she found something interesting. She honestly thought that it was not a good idea to send her instead of the cautious Delmion.

"Well. That's simple, some inscriptions have a curse on them so if you read it than you will get cursed for the rest of your life or a devil will eat your soul by granting your wish or you will disappear from the face of this world but this curse is only limited to one or two person so It may not work on me. I believe it is better to die than get your soul eaten by a devil or get cursed for the rest of your life. Don't you think so too Sherwind?"

Delmion explained frivolously.

"You...you are worse than that beast...just why am I even acquainted with these kind of people."

Sherwind suddered in fear. ( A : Honestly, I pity Sherwind but I must apologize to her because I'm not really in a mood of making my protagonists have those cliché dying for your friend character)

Delmion just remained indifferent to Sherwind's fear.

He found out that the beast must have disappeared because of Estacia. He needed to find her. She may be the only one who found out the way to the flower.

*Back to Estacia*

After walking some distance Estacia got really drained out. Fortunately, she bought all the necessities she might need in this place and that was...

Food. Water. Juice. Snacks. Drinks. More food. Sweets and....food.

Estacia looked at what she had bought with lifeless eyes.

'I should really get over my food addiction.'

All she bought was food and just a bottle of water, not even clothes.

'But hey! Anyone would do that! The most important thing in life is food after all.'

Well it is for her. However, right now what was important is finding her friends and the flower.

Estacia ate a bit of food and continued walking. She didn't have to worry about where to go because there was only one path in this cave.

While walking, Estacia thought of what she would do after getting out of here.

If they found the flower, what will Delmion do with it? Estacia decided to forget about it but that night she had definitely heard Delmion say 'my precious'.

Didn't it mean that there must be someone or something special he was searching for.

Suddenly she felt something weird. It was not a sound but like a wave of a different kind of air, in other words...a magic wave.

Estacia was not sure about it but she decided to move in that direction and saw something glimmering.

She felt like it was pushing her away but she kept stumbling in its direction and when she finally reached it, she saw it.

The beautiful light. She was mesmerized and touched it and then...

The area around her shimmered. She looked around her...

"This is it."

Estacia gasped.

"The hidden flower."

An unknown person smiled.

"Looks like someone found it. Well why don't we see who it is."
