Academy Exam

[Day of the Academy Try outs]

"Tobi bring your ass on." Soi Fon shouted.

"Hold on Senpai~." Obito yelled.

"Why did he have to take on this idiotic persona." She said pinching the bridge of her nose as Tobi walks down wearing a dark orange long sleeve shirt and black joggers with bandages on them then some black socks and sandals. And of course his mask.

After a couple minutes Obito and Soi Fon were walking down the road headed towards the academy.

"Why are you coming Senpai?" Obito asked

"Well besides getting a moment away from work head Captain wants all available captains to be present and look over new talent."

"Will you be watching other boys?"

"If they have talent." Soi Fon answered.

"NOOOOOOOOO! Senpai you can't get stolen from me. YOUR MY SENPAI!" Obito shouted flailing on the ground throwing his hands and feet around.

"Tobi stop acting stupid. Sigh alright fine I'll only look at the girl talent." Soi Fon was massaging her head trying to lessen her headache.

"and~."

"And you."

"YAAYYYYYY! Come on Senpai onward."

-1 minute later-

"Senpai...Senpai...Senpai...Sen-." Obito couldn't finish as he was chopped in the neck by soi fon.

Hoisting his body over her shoulder soi fon continued to walk towards the academy in silence.

After getting to the entrance Soi Fon saw the massive crowd and line and jumped over it to the Captain podium where all the captains except Kaname and mayuri are at.

"Oh my Soi Fon what have you done to your masked friend." Unohana smiled.

"He was being annoying so I knocked him out." Soi Fon replied throwing his body on the ground and stepping on his stomach.

"Senpai stop that hurts."

"Oh so your awake."

"I have been awake the whole time Senpai I enjoyed looking at your bouncing bottom on the way here."

"You bastard." Soi Fon face went red before she started stomping on Obito's 'area' repeatedly.

The other male captain visibly flinched at the scene till one came to the rescue.

"Soi let him off would you I mean if he's looking at it so much obviously that means you have a nice ass." Shunsui laughed.

"Captain Shunsui what was that?" Unohana asked.

"Nothing."

"Beautiful Senpai."

Obito shot up and kneeled infront of Captain Unohana then grabbed her hands and pressed his masked against them.

"Hello madam this ones name is Tobi may I have the pleasure of knowing your name."

"I am Unohana but you might want to go back to Soi Fon she seems quite upset." Unohana said giggling.

"Senpai it was a joke don't leave Tobi!"

"Captain Fon why is he here? You should know that we Captain can't show favoritism." Yamamoto said walking up to the podium.

"Of course Head Captain I'll send it to the back of the line immediately." Soi Fon bowed before grabbing Obito and disappearing to the entrance.

"Tobi no need to hold back the head captain requested that you put your all into this exam." Soi Fon said.

"Hai Senpai."

"People already saw us together so Remember your representing me and by extension division 2 so don't make us look bad. Head captain also said that the top 3 examines get a reward." Soi Fon said

"That means I must get top 3." Tobi shouted.

"Yes and since I found you he will also reward me so you better get top 3. If you do I'll also give you a reward." Soi Fon said.

"Yay rewards everywhere." Tobi said.

"Now go and when you pass they will ask if you want a dorm say no." Soi Fon told him.

"Aww Senpai wants me to stay with her." Tobi said grabbing her tiny hands.

"Shut up you idiot I just said that so we can keep training multiple times a week." Soi Fon yelled with her face bright red.

"Oh but you know I could get there whenever I want besides I think it would make it better to the public." Obito said releasing her hands.

"Fine just remember what I said." Soi Fon said disappearing.

Obito chuckled and got in line after pushing through some people he made it past the gates but then knocked into someone.

"Sorry I didn't mean it." Obito said.

Looking up Tobi saw a man a little taller than him. He was dark skin with sharp purple hair and orange eyes. He was wearing black stretch pants and a black tank top mostly covered with a purple baggy long sleeve shirt that had the Shihōin Clan crest on the back. The rest of his attire was some black sandles with white socks, golden earrings dangling, and necklace.

"Annoying." The man said before walking away.

"Wait! Are you a fellow student my name is Tobi who are you."

"Shut up and stop following me." He told Obito off.

"Oh Tobi sees your scared that I will rank above you." Tobi said suddenly the man stops.

"You think you will rank above me." He said turning around.

"I bet Tobi will beat you." Obito said.

"Haha alright how about we bet on who will rank above the other loser has to do one thing the winner says." The man said.

"Tobi accepts but nothing n-naughty." Tobi says shuddering.

"I'm not gay you idiot!" The man yelled.

"So what's your name." Tobi

"Sigh my name is Yakan Shihōin." He said.

"Shihōin as in one of the four great noble clans Yakan-kun your not going to bribe your in are you." Obito said scoldingly.

"No I probably could but that's not necessary and you don't have to use honorifics I don't care about all that formal bullshit." Yakan said.

"That's great Tobi thought you were going to be an arrogant asshole ." Obito laughed.

Yakan's eye twitched. "I'm not even the main family just a branch family but you will probably find that with any other member of the noble clans I mean look at Captain Byakuya."

"He probably wouldn't like that you said that."

"What's he gonna do give me a 30 minute lecture about how great he and his clan are. Serious look at him."

The two look towards Byakuya whose sitting in perfect posture radiating the pretty boy look complete with a bunch of girls squealing over him.

"What a dickhead." They say at the same time.

Obito started laughing while Yakan cracked a smile. Both of them continued to talk until Head Captain Yamamoto got to the mic.

"All of you have come here to take the Exam to enter Shin'ō Academy we have many applicants this time with a total of 3,000 souls. At each station you will complete a test you must pass all 3 to pass. The captains of the gotei 13 will be present and watching over to see if they see anyone that has potential. We will only take the strong if you are weak in body or mind go ahead and leave. The top 3 scores will receive a reward. You may begin."

After his speech everyone rushed to the front to begin their test Tobi and Yakan maneuvered to the front and got to the station where 8 other applicants were at.

"Hold back the line the spots are full." A woman told some guards.

"This is a test of willpower which eliminates most of the competition each year this is what we use to weed out the trash. You have to walk 20 steps to the line over there if you get to it you pass and can move on to the booth right ahead."

The 8 souls plus Yakan and Obito start walking and after a few steps one collapsed then another and another. Yakan and Obito watch as everyone else drops leaving only them and they still have 10 more steps.

[At the captains]

"Damn this is just the 1 test." Shunsui said.

"Yup this test has you walk 20 steps with severe pain in your soul, mind and body of course the amount of pain depends on your strength. With each step the pain increases double. I made it myself." Unohana said.

"This is very good Captain Unohana a soul reaper without a strong will is unless no matter how strong they are."

[Back with Yakan and Obito]

"Holy shit." Yakan said taking his 19th step his legs were shaking rapidly.

"This is very hard." Obito said struggling as he took is 19th step.

After another minute the both took a step forward. The pain was so immense it was hard to move even a single finger.

Finally taking their last steps the two fell to the ground exhausted. Seeing a shadow approached them they look up to see a energetic man smiling.

"Congratulations you have passed the first test and are currently the faster scores with Yakan at 7 minutes and 6 seconds then Tobi with 7 minutes and 7 seconds."

"Haha I beat you."

"I know that laugh hurt Yakan." Tobi said breathing hard.

"Haha it does."

Getting up the two head to the next booth where a ball is infront of them. "This test is mine Yakan." Tobi says puffing his chest out.

"Here we will test if you have enough reiastu to get in the school and how potent it is. Touch the ball and pour reiastu into it if you look over here you will see 7 stars that represent the amount and 7 circles that represent that potency. You have to have at least 3 stars lit up and 2 circles." A black hair girl said.

Stepping forward Yakan puts his hand on the ball and pours his reiastu in purple energy starts to swirl in the ball along with lightning sparks. Soon one by one the stars start to light up until 6 stars are shining then the circle start to lit up until 6 circle lit up but both 6's are only half way shining.

"That's amazing you have almost Lieutenant level reiastu and potency." She said.

Tobi goes after him putting his hand on the ball and pouring his reiastu in black energy starts to fill the ball and forms a black hole shape. The stars light up to the 7th star that halfway shining and the circle are all lit up completely.

"Another amazing applicant you have almost captain level reiastu and actual Captain level potency." The girl shouted.

"So do we just go to the booth infront of us?" Yakan asks.

"Y-yeah."

Walking to the next booth they see a large man a bell.

"This test will be taken in your head listen to my voice and relax." After chanting a couple of words the two got in a mediation position and fell asleep.

Obito looks around seeing just pitch black until he sees the man that brought him here.

"You aren't worthy of this chance I'm here to take it back." He sends an army of white figures at him.

"No you can't." Obito shouts getting ready to to fight.

Ducking under fists and kicks Obito dodges their attacks and fights the army head on but couldn't take on all of them and eventually got hit which messed up his rhythm.

"Why can't I use my powers wait this is a test I just need to relax." Obito said calming down and the figures disappeared.

Opening his eyes Obito sees the large man smiling and Yakan sitting next to him sweating looking down he sees that he is also drenched.

A minute later Yakan also opens his eyes. The large man helps then you and speaks.

"Congratulations you have passed all 3 test and are now qualified to attend Shino Academy. The year starts in a week you will have to stay in the dorm and as you two seem to be friends you will be roommates. Here are the keys to your room freshman are on floor 6 and you two will be room 87."

"Do we have to stay in the dorms this week." Yakan asked.

"No but you should start moving your stuff in the day before. Now you can go sit on those chairs over there and wait for the rest of the applicants to finished then the head captain will announce the top 3 and their rewards."

Moving to the chairs Yakan and Obito plop down in the first 2 seats. Soi Fon looks towards Tobi with a proud expression then looks at Yakan for a moment.

[With the captains]

"You have done very well Soi Fon not only have you brought a possible captain level soul here he placed number 1 you will be rewarded after this is over." Yamamoto said truly happy

"Thank you Head Captain." She bows.

After 6 hours the rest of the people went and the exams finally finished. Yamamoto got back up and spoke.

"Out of the 3000 that applied only 240 made it the weeds have been cut and now you all have officially become students of Shino academy. You should have already been given your dorm keys and outfits. Now I will announce our top 3 and their rewards."

"In 3rd place is Hima Kamrai she will receive 10,000 kan and her Asauchi early along with a special jade sheathe."

"In 2nd place is Yakan Shihōin he will receive 15,000 kan and his Asauchi early with a special jade sheathe."

"In 1st place is Tobi he will receive 20,000 kan and his Asauchi early with a special jade sheathe."

"I expect great things out of all 3 of you and everyone else that has passed. Now each of the captains will say a word." Yamamoto said before sitting down.

After every captain said something everyone could go home and prepare for next week. Obito and Yakan were standing at the entrance.

"Tobi you seemed to have won our bet so I owe you a favor we can talk about that after school starts but here if you want to message me just send this and it will come to me." Yakan said handing him a hell butterfly before leaving.

Obito then ran home and saw Soi Fon waiting for him.

"Good job Obito you made me look good infront of everyone and the head captain rewarded me."

"Before that don't I need my reward."
