Wounded

"Let go of my lover, Sakusa"

Sakusa was surprised of the sudden movement that Kita made. He was pointing a gun at him with a desperate look on his face as he tries to protect Suna that is trembling with fear.

"Y-you're choosing him instead of me?" Sakusa asked.

"I'm not choosing anyone in here. Both you and Suna are important to me and you know that! But all you're doing right now is inhumane!" Kita was so outraged he can't hold the gun properly.

"Inhumane? Do you think this is inhumane for you?" Sakusa scoffed.

"Yes it is! Give me the fucking key for Suna's chain on his leg or else I won't think twice to shoot you!" Kita said as he ordered one of his men to remove the rope off of Suna's body that is wrapped around the chair he's sitting at.

"Answer me this honestly Kita, you've been my true friend aren't you? So why are you siding with that cop right now? Didn't you told me before that you'll never betray me?" Sakusa said that looks disheartened with what's happening between him and Kita.

"I'm sorry I can't do this. You drastically changed and I don't know you anymore! I can't stay by your side because I didn't want to be in this line of work to begin with. I don't want anyone in here to get hurt  just please give me the key already." Kita pleaded.

"Do you think I also wanted this kind of work?!" Sakusa furiously shouted at Kita.

"You want the key, right?" Sakusa added.

Sakusa went at the back of the stage and came out carrying a blade made of steel and a wood handle on it and threw it right in front of Kita and said,

"Here's a hacksaw, that is the key to get Suna out of the chain."

"Don't fucking joke around Sakusa!" Kita yelled.

"What? I'm not joking. You want me to instruct you? Cut his leg so that he can get out of that chain, as simple as that." Sakusa suggested.

Kita pulled his hair hard because of distress and sighed.

"If you don't want to settle this matter peacefully, I won't too. I'm sorry Sakusa."

A gunshot was heard from the room and a blonde man collapsed on the floor with blood flowing off of his right shoulder. It was Atsumu. Sakusa didn't expect him to use his body to protect him from the gunshot and now he's lying on the floor whimpering in pain.

As soon as Kita fired, multiple gunshots were fired inside the room. Dead bodies were found lying on the ground and the room is starting to be filled up with blood coming out from different people. Kita grabbed this opportunity to let Suna free by trying to shoot his gun aimed at the chain on his leg. It took him three bullets before breaking the chain off of the hook that is attached on the floor. He grabbed Suna's arm, wrapped around him and use his other hand to support Suna's body from falling.

"Hang in there, Suna. The hospital is just a three minute drive from here. Please don't close your eyes and just look at me until we get there." Kita said as he looked at his lover who's already breathing shallowly.

"S-shinsuke...." Suna breathed.

"Please don't say anything and save that for later." Kita said as he ordered his remaining men to cover up for the both of them.

"I d-don't think I can make it at the.... hospital anymore." Suna said as he remove his hands from his stomach trying to apply pressure from the gunshots he received from the rampage earlier.

"No...no....no. Wait please we're getting out of here so please hang on for a minute." Kita said as he open the door out of the room.

Suna suddenly collapsed on the floor and whispered,

"I'm.... sorry."

"Please don't leave me! I'm begging you please!"

Kita tried to carry Suna but he shook his head to stop Kita from trying to save him. His men opened another room on the floor to escape from Sakusa's men that are still firing their gun mercilessly. Kita lay down Suna on the couch inside the room and he caressed and lightly tapped Suna's face to stop him from closing his eyes. Suna slightly opened his eyes and saw Kita that his suit is already stained with his blood. He touched Kita's face and smiled while tears were falling down on his cheeks.

"I'm so sorry for betraying you. I wasn't sure at first but the moment I've spent most of my days with you, I can't help falling in love you." Suna paused and coughed up blood.

"I told you save that for later! The others will be in here in no time so don't talk anymore!" Kita said as he tries to be tough in front of him.

Suna held Kita's hands that were holding him tight and said,

"It was an order to make your life miserable but you made my world beautiful and i'm really glad that I met you, Kita-san."

"Please.... don't leave me." Kita said who's sobbing so hard right now.

"Kita-san, can you please say my name... for the last time?" Suna pleaded.

Kita hugged Suna tightly and began to cry, unable to know what he'll do with his lover whose slowly running out of breath. He kissed him on his lips, bumped his forehead onto his and said,

"I love you, Rintarou."

Suna smiled as wide as he can and tears continuously fell down on his cheeks.

"I... love you too, Shinsuke."

The hands that were holding Kita's face slowy fell down in front of his lover's body, who's not breathing anymore. The room that was filled with the sound of gunshots earlier is now filled with groans and sobs coming from Kita. A loud explosion suddenly blew up right in front of them and three of Kita's men were dead on the spot and the Sakusa-kai's reinforcement already arrived. A dozen of Sakusa's men fired continuously and three of Kita's men died after. It was just him left in that room with his lover that is already lifeless. He kissed Suna's forehead for the last time and uttered,

"I'm so sorry...."

He grabbed the handguns that were owned by his men that were already dead and asynchronously fired at Sakusa's men direction with accuracy. After hitting six men down, he didn't realize two of them were already beside him, one from his right and one behind his back. Both of them fired continuously all over Kita's body and a final blow on his head instantly killed him.

As soon as the shooting stopped, Sakusa forcefully entered the room whose being stopped by his men from entering the room.

"I fucking told you not to shoot! What if you accidentally kill Kit----"

Sakusa paused when he saw Kita lying on the floor beside Suna who's now soaked with his own blood.

"Who fucking killed him?" Sakusa asked.

No one answered him.

"I said who fucking killed him?! If no one answers me for the second time, I'm going to kill all of you in here!" Sakusa shouted.

The two men who shot Kita stepped in front and raised their hand to answer Sakusa's question.

"Did I order you to shoot him?" Sakusa said as he grabbed one of the men's collar.

"We just arrived here as a reinforcement and we didn't know the situation. We saw the others shooting at him so we assume that it's also okay to shoot and kill him."

"So it's okay to shoot and kill him, even though all of you here knew he's been my friend since we were kids?!"

The two shook their heads with disagreement.

"If you knew that then you didn't have to do it in the first place!" Sakusa said as he fire his gun on the man's head he was holding on the collar earlier. He walked in front of the other man and pointed his gun on his head. The guy kneeled in front of Sakusa and grabbed his trousers and begged,

"Please don't kill me, my wife and daughter are waiting for m---"

The man was cut off as soon as Sakusa fired his gun on the other's head. He left everyone on that room and went back from the other room earlier. He saw Atsumu sitting on a chair trying to tie up his shoulders with a hankie to stop it from bleeding.

"I'll call someone for help wait for me in here."

Sakusa grabbed his phone from his pocket and left the room, leaving Atsumu behind.

"Daichi-san, can you hear me?"

"What was that all about?"

"Both of the clan clashed and what I heard, Suna Rintarou and Kita Shinsuke are already dead. Please retreat for now. The police will arrive in here shortly so don't let yourselves exposed to them and most importantly to Sakusa and his men too."

"I understand. Please give me a detailed report the moment you get back, okay?"

"Yes, sir."

A second after their talk, Sakusa entered the room and helped Atsumu to stand up.

"The car is already waiting in front of the club so let's get going."

When they got out of the club, Atsumu looked around and the vehicles used by the spy agency are nowhere to be found. He sighed thankfully that everyone is safe and no one got hurt today. Sakusa put his hand on top of Atsumu's head as he enters the car trying to protect him from bumping his head. After a 10 minute drive, they stopped right in front of a building.

"A shady place again, huh?" Atsumu thought as he look at the building that's old, lacks maintenance and its paint fading already.

Sakusa was the first one to go out of the car and guided Atsumu at the top floor of the building. As soon as he enters the floor, he was amaze as how well organize and how beautiful the decorations are. Sakusa opened one of the doors and a guy wearing a lab coat was standing beside the shelves full of medicines and apparatus. As soon as Sakusa saw him, he waved at him and called,

"Wakatoshi-kun....."
