Emiko

Beep beep. Beep beep. My alarm clock went off and I woke up with a headache, not a very good way to start a day but that's how it is now. I got out of my bed and looked out of window, there was heavy snow all around, maybe it was not as bad.

I took a bath quickly and got dressed for the morning class. I don't think others will come except Ikuya, he lives pretty close to the school.

I ate the breakfast mom made for me and left for the school. It's so cold today I really love snow.

I reached the school, surprisingly Fumito and Ichirou were there and Ikuya was still no where in the sight.

"where's Ikuya ? I thought he would be here before anyone else" I asked the two

"He may not come today" Fumito said.

"Why ? did he catch a cold? I told him not to play around without wearing a coat"

" no, he's alright. His girlfriend came to see him"

"Oh his girlfriend, I sometimes forget that he is dating because of the distance" Ichirou said.

"yeah. Long distance relationship surely is tough" Fumito replied.

Ikuya's girlfriend, I wonder what she looks like and how is she. Ikuya and Fumito are friends since high school Fumito was there when their relationship started so he knows everything about her but as Ichirou said they are in a long distance relationship now so I don't know her personally. Sometimes I have seen Ikuya talking to her on phone, he talks to her really nicely. I want to know about her more.

 I am Hachirou and I am 20 years old. I am an Architecture student and I am in second year. I like snow, ice cream and animals. I have 3 friends who I am really close to Ikuya, Fumito and Ichirou. Ikuya and Fumito are school friends and they became friends because of volleyball club. I became friends with three of them when they saved me from seniors on first day of the school.

"oh, here comes the devil" Fumito said. I looked towards the door and saw Ikuya but his appearance was different than ususal.

Ikuya always keeps his hair up and wears comfy oversized clothes but today his hair were down and he was wearing a black turtleneck sweater with black trouser and a coat. He was looking different, he was looking good. Not saying that he usually don't look good but today he was looking ethereal.

"oh I can't even look at him he's shining so bright" Fumito said and both, Fumito and Ichirou started laughing.

"shut your mouth before I break your teeth" Ikuya said and took his seat.

"oh look I'm shaking" Fumito teased.

"okay stop it now, Ikuya you're looking really great today" I said.

"don't give him the credit I'm sure Emiko's behind all this" Fumito said.

"who else do you think" Ikuya said and his cheeks turned bright red. It's the first time I've seen him like this.

"My baby did this" Ikuya said and touched his hair.

"Oh wait, his appearance is not the only new thing here. Look at his hand" Ichirou said.

I looked at his hand, he was wearing a ring in his ring finger. Must be a couple ring.

After some more teasing professor entered the room and our class started. Our time table today was packed not even a single free hour. It was like a jail but we finally took a breath of relief when all the classes ended.

It was 5 PM and all of us were so hungry and tired that we couldn't even speak. We were leaving when we saw someone in front of the exit.

Fumito who was so tired to speak suddenly seemed so energetic. He ran towards the person and hugged her. I saw Ikuya who was smiling at the sight and Ichirou who was as confused as me.

"you're going to crush my bones Fumito" she said and hid her face in Fumito's neck.

"that's what you get for not meeting me earlier" Fumito said and broke the hug.

It was now the first time I got a clear view of her face. How should I describe it? She was so beautiful, more like she came from heaven. she was tall and her voice is as sweet as honey. But who was she ? I have never seen Fumito involving with someone like that before. He hates PDA but right now it's like a total different Fumito.

"I told you to rest at home didn't I ?" Ikuya said and kissed her forehead.

WHY ?

"I was missing Fumito. Why, do you have any problem?" she said and hugged Fumito again.

Fumito bleeped at Ikuya.

"okay okay, come here first let me introduce you to my friends" Ikuya said.

"He is Ichirou the one who talked to you on call the other day" he said.

"oh, you were the one? I was really looking forward to meet you" she said and hugged Ichirou.

"me too yeah, he never shut his mouth when he starts talking about you" ichirou replied.

"and he is Hachirou" Ikuya said looking at me.

"ah the Angel who is living in a human body" she said looking at me.

"what?" I said.

"that's what Ikuya says about you" she said and hugged me.

The hug was so warm and comforting. Her scent was so beautiful just like her appearance and her heart. I didn't want her to leave me I didn't want her to break the hug. but with that going in my mind , she pulled away.

"She is my girlfriend, Emiko" Ikuya said.

WHAT ? HIS GRILFRIEND ? WHY SHE HAS TO BE THE ONE ?

"nice to meet you both" she said and smiled.

"let's go somewhere to eat, I haven't hung with Emiko since she moved" Fumito said.

"what do you say baby?" Ikuya asked her.

WHY THE HELL HE IS TALKING TO HER LIKE THAT

"I'm down only if Ichirou and Hachirou joins us" she said and looked at us.

"sure" we said.

After that we all went to a nearby restaurant and I get to know she really can handle alcohol well. Fumito was so drunk that he couldn't even stand and Ichirou was literally sleeping on his spot. Ikuya was busy picking fight with Fumito while Emiko was talking to me.

"by the way, did you get him dressed today?" I asked her.

"ah yes I did" she replied.

"he is looking really good"

"hehe, thank you. I wanted him to get an piercing too but he's scared of needles" she said.

"really?"

"haha, yeah"

She is really good at making friends. Ikuya isn't someone to let anyone in his life easily, she's really something.

"you bastard" Fumito yelled at Ikuya.

"what motherfu-" Ikuya was going to say but Emiko cut him between.

"stop you two. I didn't come here to listen this" Emiko said.

"see you made her angry you bitch" Fumito said.

"oh puh-lis" Ikuya said.

They both may look like they will kill each other at any moment but they really close in real. They are the Tom and Jerry of the group.

"Emiko you remember how he cried when you guys fought for the first time" Fumito said.

"yeah. I had to hug him for a day after that" she said and they both started laughing.

"Ah do you remember when the teacher he liked sent his love confession letter back with red marking all over the spelling mistakes" Ikuya said.

"yeah. I had to hug him too for a day after that" she said and they both stared laughing.

"Ikuya you remember when she failed the test because she was busy making us stop crying then cried for a day" Fumito said

"yeah then Kenta had to hug her for a day" Ikuya said and they both started laughing.

"ah can I get a knife please" she said and both of them didn't say a word after that.

All of them were having a great time, but why with him?

WHY SHE HAD TO MET HIM BEFORE ME?

I WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THAT PLACE.
