A week has passed and the police haven't found my parents. A week of torture and heartache, they must be out there somewhere right?
Mason's P.O.V
The police still haven't found her parents but still, that doesn't mean my men can't find them. From the very first day her parents vanished, I had my men investigate. Let's just hope they find them soon. On the other hand, I haven't told Ava about this and I'm not planning on telling her until I find her parents.
Today Everly and Jason asked me to return to the old mansion. You must be wondering who are they, well you may say they are the reason I exist. My so-called parents who chose their wealth over their own flesh and blood, hilarious right.
I told Ava I'd be home late and left the house...
At 6 in the night, I decided to wrap things up since I'll be having dinner with Everly and Jason. Besides, I wanna reach home early to check up on Ava.
I left the office and arrived at the mansion by 7:30.
I walked to the front door and butler Joe opened the door and told me that my parents are in the dining room. I pushed my hands in my pocket and nodded.
I walked to the dining room and sat down.
"Son, where are your manners?" my dad asked
"My manners are reserved for important people now get to the point," I said coldly
" Who do you think you are talking too! I'm your dad" he growled
"I have no parents," I said without sparing him a glance
"Enough!" Everly shouted
"Son, we called you here because we need to talk to you about your wife"
"Wife?" I asked in mockery
"Yes son, Lisa is an amazing woman we invited her to dinner on Friday, you must be there since she will be your fiance."
I chortled " Everly, as far as I know, I will pick my own wife, but since Lisa is such an amazing woman and you all like her so much, why don't you make dad marry her after all its not impossible to marry more than one woman" I smirked amusingly
Jason spat out the wine he was drinking and stood up angrily
" You son of a bitch! How dare you!"
I turned to him and said "indeed I am a son of a bitch and that bitch is your wife" with a mocking simper.
"How dare you!"
I stood up and said " I already have a fiance and we are planning our wedding so don't try messing with my life"
With that, I took a few steps and stopped " Enjoy your dinner, I'm leaving."
I left the mansion.
Ava's P.O.V
It's now 8 in the night and Mason hasn't reached home. This place is like a hunted house, its freaking quiet which scares the shit out of me makes me feel like someone will jump in front of me with a knife at any moment. Anyway, I dragged myself out of bed and went for a shower. I spent at least half an hour cleaning up the mess that I've been in for the past couple of days. I came out of the shower searching for my towel and realize I left it in the room.
Mason's P.O.V
I arrived home at 8:32 and smiled when I figured that Ava might be asleep by now. I entered the house and headed straight to her room no matter how much I tell this woman to off the light before she goes to bed she doesn't listen apparently she always gives me the same answer the house is creepy so she feels safer with the lights on.
I open her bedroom door expecting her fast asleep on the bed but instead I was greeted with a naked Ava. I froze on the spot and I honestly couldn't take my eyes off of her. Ava who just realized her door was opened turned to see me, her chicks immediately heated up and she screamed
"Ah!! Turn around don't look!"
I snapped out of it and immediately felt a heat below my abdomen it didn't take long for me to realize that seeing her naked took a tool on me. Without a word I tried to turn quickly and mumbled sorry rushing to my room.
My God! I couldn't take the image out of my mind! She was simply blessed with the right portions of everything!
