When people asked Crecylla about how ready she was to have kids, she was pretty confident in yes. But unfortunately when she did have two gremlins of her own, she was not ready. She's lucky though, she had her parents to help with her kids. Her eyebags grow, and she looks far more tired than before. Somehow to Cyrus though, she still looks ethereal.
Cyrus holds his son in his arms. The girl cries from the crib, and Crecylla moves in her sleep. He moves to shush the girl. She grows quiet, and Cyrus sighs in relief. He tucks the two kids in, and he smiles softly. Both kids were finally asleep. Cyrus sits down in bed, and he falls asleep himself. Crecylla opens an eye to peer at Cyrus, and she smiles to herself.
A handful of years pass, and the kids grow slightly. They're the oldest in the royal household, and by law they were the rightful rulers to the throne. Cyrus and Crecylla know this, and they tell the kids. The two would make wonderful rulers, there was no doubt to it. They don't pressure them into becoming rulers. The young ones wonder about it though, they want to train with their cousins. The question is brought up at the dinner table by the eldest.
"Am I the rightful ruler to the throne?" the question isn't forbidden, it's just unspoken, and lingers in the air.
"Yes love" Crecylla answers the question. "Did you want to rule?"
"Is it hard?"
Cyrus answers the question even though Crecylla had ruled before. "It depends on what kind of a person you are. Your cousins are lively like your uncle, they'd make good diplomats, but not necessarily good rulers"
The eldest nods. Their son speaks up next. "If Solaria ends up deciding yes, does that mean we have to return to the castle?"
"I would seem so" Crecylla nods. "Think about it Solaria. Just remember that we aren't against it in any way"
She nods. The rest of dinner passes on the topic of their next vacation. Solaria thinks over taking the throne. Did she want the throne? Why did mom and dad leave the throne behind? Was it really necessary to do all of that? She thinks over what could happen with her as the ruler. But she wanted to be trained, she wanted to have the dignity and grace her parents have. She wants to rule an empire one day and go down in history.
Cyrus smiles at his daughter. She was the spitting image of him as a girl, but she had the ocean blue eyes of her mother. He takes note of his son. He's poised, perfect, but slightly goofy. He loves him just the same. They were both his children. He excuses himself from the table, and Crecylla leads the kids to help her with cleaning the dishes.
"Hey mom?" her son asks. "Do you think I could rule one day?"
Crecylla smiles at him. "I know you will Mizuki"
"But what if I decide to take the throne?" Solaria whines, and Crecylla laughs softly. "Don't worry about it darling. You two always might change your minds."
The kids were set on ruling, and when time passed and Solaria turned 10, they moved back into the castle to start on their training. It was hard on both of them, the teachers weren't any easier to deal with, and they had trouble adjusting. Their cousins managed easily, having grown up in the palace and been trained since they were young.
"moOOM!"Mizuki falls onto his bed, exhausted from the training a king needed.
"Yes love?" Crecylla had requested to room with her family, and Luna and Helios had agreed. Luna wanted her niece and nephew to be comfortable in the palace, and made sure that they weren't afraid to ask for anything.
"Did dad have to train until his muscles were sore like this? Did he have to study the history of all the nations, I'm tired how did you two do this" Mizuki falls onto the bed, exhausted from the day's training.
"Yeah! How come you guys made it seem so easy!" Solaria sits up, and she stares at Crecylla.
"I never said it was easy. We tried to tell you-"
"hm? Don't worry loves. If mom and dad could get through it, then I'm sure you two could as well." Cyrus walks out from his bath. He ruffles Mizuki's hair, and pats Solaria's. "It'll get better. I promise. Give it a year or two. You two will make great rulers"
Three years pass before the two master ruling. They're fair rulers, and when the king and queen are called to choose who gets to rule, Solaria gets chosen. She would be ruling Phoenicia, and her cousin, Ichiko would be ruling Diana. Mizuki was given the title of head guard, and he would be Solaria's personal guard.
"I really don't wanna be guarding you"
"Make sure I don't die Mizuki"
"No promises" He sticks his tongue out. Solaria laughs a little.
Solaria rules with dignity and grace. She's a fair ruler, and she does not hesitate to ruin anyone that will ruin her peaceful reign. She's seen as harsh, cruel, evil to some, but her loyalty to her citizens is undeniable. She doesn't marry, and her parents let her decide her own marriage. She's the epitome of beauty, and her ocean eyes charm the Phoenician citizens. Her orange hair looks strange with her blue eyes, but her hair is always in a new hairstyle.
Mizuki is cruel, cold, merciless in battle. He kills his enemies cold blooded, and he always strikes a peace sign before killing his enemies. It's cruel, but he's a family man. He makes sure to return home clean and greet his wife with a kiss on the lips. His children are strong, and they train well under the regime of his sister. He's ethereal, and his golden eyes and dark hair are a pair worth looking at.
