Castle on the Sea

I had been out at sea almost a week now. The water was a deep, dark blue that I had seldom seen before and the sky mirrored the colour. A slight breeze could be felt, as the sun beat down on me, which I was considering pretty strange, given it was November, but I was unfamiliar with the world I now found myself in.

Thinking that brought me to Requiem, and I began to think. I preferred the strict order of that city to the untamed wild that this ashen world found itself in. In Requiem, it was dangerous if you didn't fulfil almost every requirement set by The Elder or even The Ascended, which was difficult enough. But should you live your life as they see fit well... you'd live. You would be able to go to work, use your free time.
