Vanilla bean Frappuccino

" Ashe I think you should go to a phycologist" Grace suggests.

" do you think that will really help?" I say

" Yes Ashe, trust me" She gave me one of her trust me/believe me smiles.

" Fine I'll go, do you know any good phycologists?"

" Yep," she said and gave me what looked like a business card "this is the best person I know, her name is Julie"

" okay thanks, I will give her a call right now"

" Okay I'm going to get going now, my mom will probably need help for making lunch bye Ashe." Said Grace, then she left. I decided to keep my word and give this Julie a call. A friendly voice picked up, that's a good sign a thought.

" Hi my name is Julie, how can I help you today?"

" Hi Julie, my name is Ashe I wanted to book an appointment"

" Oh ok sure! What time would you like to see me, Ashe?"

" Maybe like" I looked at my watch it was 9:05 am "10?"

" Sure I will see you there. Bye"

" Bye"

Well, she was nice, maybe this won't be so bad after all. At 9:50 I decided to start to get going when I reached I was amazed. Julie's office looked more like a house than an office. When I went inside everything looked so homely, it was nice actually. I went to a dining table which looked like the front desk, I was right a lady was sitting there. She had dark brown hair and was wearing jeans and a shirt that said feeling the beet with a picture of a beetroot wearing headphones. I told her that I have an appointment with Julie and she pointed me to go through a dark, brown wooden door. I went in and saw a bright smiling woman, she was wearing Jeans, a cardigan, and a plain white shirt. A little bit more of a generic outfit compared to the front desk lady. Seeing her made me want to smile so I did, it felt good.

" Let me guess, Ashe?" She said in a warm and friendly voice.

"Yep nice to meet you, Julie" I held out my hand.

" Nice to meet you too, Now sit please" I sat down on a very colorful sofa, I think it was supposed to be tie-dye.

" Now what's wrong love?" she asked.

" well, it's about my mom, she is um dead and I have so many questions to ask her. I need her"

" aww Ashe, I'm so sorry for your loss but listen to me your mom never left you and she never will. I bet you right now she is standing right behind you listening to us talking, taking care of you."

" really?" I said sounding like a small kid.

" Yes," she said smiling " she will never leave you if you want to ask her something go to your bed tonight and just talk to her"

" Okay thank you"

" Tell me how it goes, same time tomorrow" I got up slowly and walked to the door.

" Thanks, Julie bye"

" Bye"

I felt so much better after my appointment with Julie. There was a Starbucks nearby so I decided to grab a quick drink before going home. I ordered my usual vanilla bean frappuccino it was delicious. I sipped on it as I walked home. It was a long walk at least 30 minutes, when I reached home I went straight to my bed and asked my mom all the questions that were buzzing around in my head.

" Mom," I said " Why did you make fake money? Why did you never tell me? Do you miss me?"

I know it's stupid but I was actually expecting an answer.

" I miss you mom," I said crying into my pillow, but then I heard a voice. It sounded like my moms it said

" Ashe listen I cant answer some of your questions but I can answer one, of course, I miss you, honey, now I have to go be safe, be strong and never cry over me I'm not worth your tears. I love you, goodbye.

" MOM NO PLEASE DONT GO!" But I got no response she was gone.

The next day I couldn't wait to talk to Julie When I finally reached her office I ignored the front desk lady and ran straight into Julie's room. I said

"Julie I heard my mom!"

" What Ashe wow, sit down and tell me everything," I told her everything about me crying and my mom telling me to stop crying. Julie looked amazed and so happy for me.

" Ashe I told you, your mother will always be with you no matter what."

" ye I guess you were right but Julie, I have a question"

" what is it, dear"

" Why didn't my mom answer my other questions? was she scared to talk to me?"

"I don't know Ashe maybe she was scared we shall never know"

" But I want to know"

"Listen Ashe someday you will know, someday all the world's secrets will be revealed to each one of us. We just have to be patient and wait for that day"

" Wow Julie, you should become a poet"

" Maybe I will Ashe after I'm too old for this job, maybe I will"
