They then make it to the Brotherhood. They then help Schaffe in to front door to the counter where the doctor was. Phil then says, "hey can you help my friend he got shot in his left eye." The Doctor looks and thinks and says, "alright let me examine him and will see what I can do just bring him to a room in the back. They then Bring Schaffe to the back. The Doctor then picks up the phone call someone and says, "hey I might found a good subject sir…. Alright I'll give him the eye." The Doctor then goes to the room and looks at Schaffe's left eye socket and says, "well he can't see with that eye but your in luck because I'm specialize in eye surgery." Phil then says, "really that cool guy." Ian then says, "alright now what." the Doctor then says, "well I'll start right away so we can't waste time." The Doctor gets Schaffe into the surgery room. Ian then say, "now let's see how many cigs it takes till he done." Phil then says, "damn they weren't kidding in saying fiend of cigarettes." a few hours go by and the doctor comes out and says, "it was a success he got a new left y but going be bit before he wakes up." Phil then says, "all right." Ian then says, "ah sick let's go check on him." Phil and Ian then go into the room Schaffe was sleep with bandages over his left eye." Schaffe then starts waking up and says, "where am I." Phil then says, "hey guy we are the doctors since you got shot in the eye." Schaffe then says, "oh yeah that was something." Ian then says, "how you feeling." Schaffe then says, "hungry like I haven't ate in two days." A female nurse then comes in with a tray with two large steaks. The Nurse then says, "the Doctor say he might be hungry." Schaffe then takes the tray and starts eating the steak. They would then watch him devour the steaks whole. Phil then says, "thats new he never had an appetite like that." The doctor comes in and says, "now let me take the bandages off it should be healed by now eyes are the quickest to heal." The doctor then take the bandage of Schaffe's left eye to reveal a deathclaw eye. Phil then says, "ahhhh." Ian then says, "hey doc that doesn't seen right." Schaffe then says, "wow I never seen this good before it like when you get a better TV graphics." The Doctor then says, "that good then it was a success." They then see a man with a fur jacket come in he has black hair with gray sides and brown eyes and says, "ah so your Schaffe." Schaffe then says, "yeah oh do I know you." The man then says, "oh forgive me my name is Max Majors I'm the leader of the New York branch of the brotherhood I've come to see if your surgery went well and it did you the first to have a deathclaw eye inserted into you." Schaffe then says, "your talking about those terrifying creatures I have one of there eyes...cool I guess I see better with it so thanks." Max then says, "well now we can talk about payment and well it going a lot." Phil then says, "well how much is it." The doctor then shows him the bill and Phil looks like a ghost seeing that number and says, "we don't have that much cap." Max then says, "well I have another way you could pay us." Ian then says, "whats that." Max then says, "well you can work it off." Phil then says, "well I guess we have no option now." Max then says, "great then welcome to the Brotherhood you will start boot camp once your discharge." Max then leaves the room. Phil then thinks, "he strange one." Ian then says, "boot camp huh wonder how we are going to do." Schaffe then says, "this going to be terrible I suck in gym class I was a computer geek."
