Welcoming the guests

Bear Island, 290 AC, Alisa Mormont POV.

Alisa is solemnly waiting for her Lord cousin from the Bear Harbor, newly built port town by the coast. Beside her, is the Midwife tending to Lyanna, which would grow up as a wild child, no doubt. One name day, and she has the fierce attitude of the She-bear.

Her mother is no more, but bloodied old bones and ashes. Still, this was her mother who took care for her, taught her the ways of the North and pride of the bear. Now, this lesson of hers will be taught by Alisa to her young sister.

Big changes happened on a year she acted as the Lady of Bear Island. As Mormont pride cannot be sullied, she built the mighty and enchanted castle in Westeros has ever seen. Though, not known by many, the Maester of Citadel have already known its existence as the Maester of Bear Island informed them. Truly Grey Rats have the disguised spy network in Westeros, and the Citadel is their central intelligence. But, for Alisa, this will benefit her, for Maesters who will know this can pass the news throughout Westeros, curious minds will come forth to Bear Island, further raising reputation and wealth power.

Already, the Arbor's trade ship come and go to the Bear Harbor for trades, as the fee to port in their Harbor is very cheap.

Alisa's thoughts was disrupted when the loud cheer of the people bellowed the harbor, she smiled as the surviving Mormont soldiers ran to their family and relatives, and in the end, was her Lord cousin, Jorah, accompanying his intended, Lynesse Hightower. On their back, is the Lord of Hightower itself, Leyton Hightower, along with his wife, Rhea Hightower nee Florent. Well, she's right to order the large feast, Mormonts cannot be embarrassed from the one of the wealthiest and oldest family in Westeros.

"Lord Mormont." Alisa smiled as she inclined her head slightly.

"Lady Mormont." Jorah grinned widely, very glad to see Alisa once again.

Alisa could never forget to greet their guest, "Lord Hightower, Lady Hightower, welcome to Bear Island." She inclinedher head slightly again, showing confidence and grace, before she continued, "And, of course, welcome to the lady that took my cousin's heart, Lady Lynesse."

She took a breath's time, before saying once again, "We have prepared your guest rooms, and hot bath, our honored guests." She pointed to the newly built carriage, very sturdy and smooth wheeled carriage, to carry their rich ass. "Please, Lady Hightower, Lady Lynesse, come aboard the carriage and we can move on."

The Rhea Hightower was really a lovely Lady, composing herself with demure but graceful desposition, along her daughter, Lynesse, obvious to earth that they were trained to be like that. "Thank you, Lady Mormont, for the warm welcome."

"Yes, warm welcome that protects us in the cold North." Lynesse smiled.

Leyton Hightower is a strict and proud lord, being amazed and stunned will be hard to dawn in his face, but Alisa did just that. Lord Leyton had a small smile, giving a firm nod to Alisa, before continuing his mare, along with his Lord cousin.

This is an opportunity, trade and connection with Hightowers, will benefit Bear Island.

The host came to a abrupt turn, Jorah was bewildered by this and asked Alisa, "Why are we turning away from the Keep?"

Alisa just smirked and answered simply, "Just let me lead."

Leyton eyed the ten name days girl, and nodded along, amused to see small child having a great sway to their Lord, she could not help but say, "How could a girl of your age, able to hold much say to your people? The books must be outdated or you have created a miracle, I expected the Bear Island living as small folks does." Well, he is pretty straightforward.

Luckily, Alisa is pretty straightforward to, "Because they believe in me, and they believe on what I can do."

"What can you do?" Leyton responded. Jorah winced to that question.

Alisa smirked, not really a great expression as it looked to Leyton, was a complete insult to his question, but he just raised his eyebrow. Alisa replied, "I do not mean any offense. And, this is what I can do." With a waved of her hand, the mist covering the mountain dispersed, revealing the large castle of Darknorth, glimmering from the Teigu-made dark ice. This feat was shocking both for Jorah and Leyton, as their jaw fell from their face, speechless from the magnificent structure sitting in the largest mountain between three smaller mountains.

"H-how...?" Jorah was wide eyed, his expression was amazed, unable to form complete word. With Leyton, he just remained shocked, probably his mind broke.

Alisa just smirked at this, "Welcome to the new home of House Mormont, Darknorth."

"It's surprisingly bright in the inside, it's as if the sun were inside here." Lady Hightower was astonished, taking in all the sights. At first, they were cautious of what sorcery made by Lady Alisa, as she blatantly show her 'gifts' to outsiders, saying Northern people do not need secrecy and word plays. Said to speak freely, the North talk with straightforward words, or else, you will be deemed a liar.

"Come, your rooms have your baths prepared. Surely after weeks of travelling, a bit of hot water should relax your bodies." Alisa pointed at one of the large high doors, presumably, large room of wooden door inside of an ice castle.

Lady Hightower was unable to yield her curiousness, she asked, "How does a castle made of ice, have not release a whiff of coldness? And also melts from the fire lights around the castle?" She turned to Alisa.

"The castle is made of dark ice, unable to melt, stronger and harder than steel, and it will forever embedded on this mountain, even after I die." Alisa said, satiating the lady's question. "And dark ice does not release its cold attribute, as this lose the power of the ice, resulting of breakage.

"And, of course, supper will be ready shortly. Then we can discuss at my Lord cousin's solar on the morrow."
