°Herd Hiders are dragons that blend in with herds of herbivores, so that they prey upon them, as well as blend in to live unbeknownst to ther herd/and or farmer.
°Herd Hiders will eat newborn calves and fawns, and leave their own hatchling to be raised by the unsuspecting mother.
°As a default a Herd Hider hatches looking like a deer fawn, they will change form depending on the milk of it's new false mother. Though other dragons can tell them apart from the other animals.
° Herd Hiders have one major week spot, and that is no matter what animal they take form as, it will always have the long mouth of a dog, even if its face is still that of another small mouthed animal.
°These dragons are raised by the adopted mother, and are fed milk as the actual calf/fawn would be. Once they are weaned they grow the fangs that are characteristic of dragons.
°Herd Hiders can grow anywhere between the size of a goat to the enormity of a bison.
°Other than seeing one of these dragons lay an egg, there is no other way to tell the genders apart.
°If a dragon holds the same form for more than twenty years it can no longer shift to mimic other animals.
°The animals it mimics must have cloven hooves. No matter the shape this dragon has cloven hooves.
°Many dragon ladies love raising these dragons, because they will take the shape of the milk you give it. Making the cuteness possibilities endless.
°These dragons seem to have no wings, but they will gather the energy from around them and shadows to make temporary wings.
