'Incoming!' Someone yelled.
I heard Stephen's voice booming over the station's intercom. 'All defenders to the armoury! I say again, all defenders to the armoury!'
'What should we do?' The older man called after us, still holding on to the telescope next to him.
'Get to cover, and tell anyone else who can't fight to do the same.'

Cali followed my gaze. 'They're still intact.'
Despite her words of comfort, my heart was hammering. 'All the same, let's avoid taking this thing anywhere else. Shame we can't turn the power off.'
Cali shrugged. 'It's not like we have time to pin up a sign, Jake. Get your head in the game.'
'It's there.'
