Kane stroked his hand along Navarl's scaled neck, causing the dragon to let out a soft purr. 'I appreciate what you've done here, but I must go and check on my family.' All but one of the remaining Dragon Knights left with him. I couldn't fault them, though; if it were my home that had been pulverised like that, I'd want to do everything I could to fix it.
'Can we be of service?' One of the Uvaaaru warriors asked, its voice trembling. 'I fear we are much to blame for these sorry state of affairs.'
The Knight was treating a raw-looking blaster wound on the dragon's thigh when he looked up. 'We could use medical support if you can spare anybody?'
The same Uvaaaru unplucked an officer's pin badge from their chest with one final scowl at their former master. 'Most of us are gifted in the art of healing.'
