Hey all, I hope you're all well and staying home #stayhomesavelives.
We stepped out of the TARDIS, there were no houses, no shops, no hotels
"When are we?" I asked looking around
"I'd say around thirty thousand years into your past" the doctor answered after licking a finger and holding it up as if testing the wind Damon whistled in awe "right, now to find mother witch" the doctor started to walk off
"Wait, won't you lock your TARDIS?" I asked as I chased him
"No need, no one sees the TARDIS, people ignore it, everyone ignores it, it has a perception filter" he explained I just nodded. We walked for about two minutes when the doctor announced we had reached mother witches house, I took a deep breath, I was nervous, in front of me was a cave, it had no door, there wasn't much room inside therefore only Damon and I walked forward, there were leaves on the floor, and pieces of leather, I'm guessing that is where the seating was, and also where mother slept, I nearly cried looking at the arrangement but I knew this is how people lived during this time, I heard footsteps coming towards the cave, footsteps that did not belong to any of us, I turned around, it was mother and I nearly fell over due to how she looked, don't get me wrong, I don't judge people based on their looks, but this woman was a different story, her brown hair was a mess, her face was dirty, and her clothing was barely there, the clothing was just pieces of leather held up by leather strips, these pieces of leather only covered certain parts of the body, if you know what I mean
"Who you?" She grunted, I felt like I was talking to a caveman, then realised I was talking to a caveman
"I'm Clarissa, we need your help" I began, the woman sat down on the floor, right there, outside her cave, after sharing a glance at each other all of us sat down, except Hannah, she stayed standing up
"Speak" the mother grunted
"There is a war, and we need your help..." she stopped me from talking by raising her hand,
"Not understand" she, using her knees, came over to me "Hold hands" she grunted, taking my hands in hers she closed her eyes, yes I remembered how mother witch could see into ones mind just by touching, she gasped when she let go "my children bad, my children die?" She cried, I cried too and held her hands again
"I'm here to stop that from happening" now I needed to speak like her "you stop war"
"How?" I took out the spell from my pocket
"When you create werewolves use this spell" I handed the paper over she looked it over moving it around in her hands.
"No read" she told me sounding sad
"No read, burn, with fire" she nodded then after thinking she spoke again
"Werewolves?" She wondered
"Stanley? Show her" I whispered, Stanley looked around, he walked into mothers cave, happy no one was looking he took of his clothes and shifted, an amazing black wolf stepped out, his coat shone in the sun, mother was in awe, he went back inside and he shifted back to human form and got dressed
"Wolfman my child?" She asked
"Yes, you will create him, I don't know when, but when you do, burn that" it took us a while to explain it fully and in the end she understood.
We decided we wanted to stick around, we had all the time in the world, we decided to explore
"Is this safe?" Damon asked "what if we change something? What if we change the future?"
"We are changing the future, that's why we're here" I smugly reminded him, of course I knew what he meant, I laughed when he glared at me, this world was amazing, it honestly didn't feel like earth there was nothing here, no buildings at all, nothing but trees, big trees, plants, crops, caves, the doctor caught up to Damon and I as we sat on the ground taking in the fresh air, a nice breeze blew and I closed my eyes, feeling it on my face, I felt and heard movements but my eyes remained closed
"You had a choice today" the doctor began to talk, I opened my eyes to see Damon had gone, I could see him a fair distance away talking to Eli
"I'm sorry?" I asked, not really knowing what he meant
"The spell? You could've caused the werewolves to die, why didn't you?"
"Why didn't I what? Commit genocide? I couldn't, it wasn't needed, I've never taken an innocent life doctor, I didn't want this to be the first" I explained
"How did you think of the spell?" He asked me after smiling at my oh so wonderful answer
"Oh I was sixteen when I first met mother witch, every witch meets her when they come into their power, mother needs to know if you're evil, anyway, she told me about werewolves and vampires, about how her children hate one another, I thought about it long and hard, she had explained that power wise witches are superior, after us it's the vampires, then fairies, then werewolves, but one bite, even a scratch from a ware and the vampire is dead, vampires think they are superior to a ware in every way, but a werewolf can kill a vampire, so I worked hard, hard to find a spell, it took me four months to come up with a spell, I happily showed it to mother, I was so excited, but when she saw it she explained that even though it was a great spell, she had created a spell similar once, but just like then, she couldn't use it, not then, not ever, because in order to do so every werewolf would need to die, and then she would have to start over, she would have to recreate werewolves, neither of us wanted to commit genocide even then, so we forgot about the spell, when you showed up, doctor, I decided to go back to a time before werewolves were created, if this spell is used now, before it all begins, werewolves needn't die" I shrugged, the doctor smiled and we spoke no more, I just prayed to the goddess that the spell works.
After maybe two hours of mindless exploring we decided to go back, after one last look each of us waved at the different world, we got into the TARDIS, and we took off.
"Ooh, babies are kicking" Hannah announced, she was sat on a yellow chair that didn't go with decor at all, but it did mean Hannah could stay off her feet so I didn't say anything Stanley had his hand on her belly, they were both giggling, it was cute, when they finally stopped they apologised we brushed them off
"So have you thought of names yet?" I asked
"Yes all four pups have their names" Hannah smiled widely, I stopped smiling
"Four?" I asked Hannah's smile vanished she looked at Stan then at me and nodded. I closed my eyes and listened
"I don't hear four heartbeats" I opened my eyes to see Hannah crying "I hear five" I laughed, Hannah laughed too
"Are you sure?"
"Positive" I assured. I was glad, so happy.
