Talking About The War

This morning they started talking about tatics for the war and the others were surprised about how vast some of Diana's knowledge is concerning Fortis and Noblis.

Right now they're practicing sword skills with Crystal sparing with Maddy, Hunter sparing with Kylo and Alex sparing against Diana.

The others are skilled fighters and have great technique however, Alex is obviously superior to them when it comes to sword skills.

Maddy lost her fight to Crystal and Kylo lost to Hunter soon after so they decided to watch Alex and Diana as they spar.

"Wow, you two are amazing," Maddy chimes after awhile as they all watch in awe.

"Yeah, none of us can ever keep up with Alex when it comes to one on one," Hunter agreed.

"Hmm," Diana just acknowledged what they were saying while continuing to focus on her opponent and this spar.

They continued trading blows for atleast another half an hour not slowing down for even a second.

"Ok you two that's enough," Queen Valeria said as she came out "you'll end up exhausted eventually and that won't do any good," she continued so Alex and Diana put their swords away.

"We could have gone longer without exhausting ourselves," Alex pointed out.

"I know you could have," Queen Valeria agreeed "but don't you also need to practice your archery skills?" she asked.

"Yes," Alex answered walking over to the archery practice and picking up a bow and grabbing three arrows aiming them at the target and getting perfect balls eyes.

The others soon joined him picking up a bow each and practiceing their aim. Diana just watched them practicing from where she is.

"Aren't you going to join them?" Queen Valeria asked as she came and stood beside Diana.

"I will, I'm just watching what techniques they use," Diana explained to her.

"Their techniques?" Queen Valeria asked intreeged.

"Yes, everyone has a slightly different technique when it comes to anything no matter how simular they look their techniques are all different not a single one is the same," Diana explained to her.

"That's intrugeing," Queen Valeria said as she watched them more closely and after awhile she understood what Diana means.

"Well I better practice my archery," Diana said after awhile excusing herself she walked over to where the others are and picked up a bow as well as four arrows.

She set the arrows and aimed for the target releasing all four at once and they all met their targets.

"Wow," Maddy who was next to Dians said in awe "your incredible at archery," she praised.

"I didn't even know you did archery," Crystal chimed in.

"Of cource I know archery I practiced since I was four then had to stop when I was six because of some let's say...unexpected circumstances but then picked it up again when I turnt twelve in secret. However, I haven't practiced since I left home so I'm a little sloppy." Diana answered nonchalant as she continued to practice.

Maddy and Crystal as well as Hunter and Kylo who had been listening to their conversation also looked at Diana in astonishment while Alex just continued to practice his archery.

"You should be practicing," Queen Valeria said to the other four guessing that Diana would soon become uncomftable with their stares and they quickly got back to practiceing their archery.

"Diana," Alex began "what weapons can you use?" he asked curiously while still practicing so that his mother wouldn't berate him.

"Any really I can pick up any skill as long as I've seen it done atleast once, I am also well versed in hand to hand combat," Dians answered.

"What's your strongest aspect when it comes to battle?" Hunter asked.

"I'll keep that to myself," Diana answered "after all that gives someone the upper hand, besides I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out," Diana replied a smile curling slightly at the corner of her mouth but no emotions reaches her eyes.

They continued practicing for atleast two hours while the queen sat nearby reading her book with her sapphire eyes trained on every letter and her raven waist length hair tied in a bun, her rose red lips turnt in a slight smile.

After they finished practicing she looked up from her book and smiled at them "That was some great practicing," she complemented as they walked to where she is and the others sat down. "Diana would you care for a spar?" she asked and the others were shocked.

"I'd love to," Diana answered honestly she's actually wanted to see what the queen is like in fights first hand.

"I'll be using dual blades as I've heard you're well acquainted with them as well," Queen Valeria said as she pulled out her two swords from the scabbards that are hanging around her waist.

"I'm glad you won't be going easy on me," Diana said as she doesn't want this to be an easy battle.

They both took their places and Diana pulled out both her swords ready to start. Everyone around held their breaths in silence as they anticipate what's going to happen and who's going to make the first move.

After awhile Queen Valeria launched her first attack using her right sword Diana quickly defended when the queen brought her left sword up quicker then the eye can see Diana swiftly used her left sword to block using the momentum to push herself away and then quickly attacked but Queen Valeria lives up to her reputation quickly blocking it.

They keep exchanging blows each more furosious then the last neither of them stopping or slowing down for even a second. After all a second could be the difference between winning and loosing or even between life and death.

Queen Valeria truly is an oponent you don't want to face on the battle field. Every blow is perfect, her aim impeccable and her technique is unbelievable.

Her blows rained down upon Diana never ending pushing her back as she blocks and parrie the queens attacks with one sword and attack with the other.

"Your skills are exsemtury," Queen Valeria complimented as we exchange blows.

"And your an extrodinary swords women," Diana returned the queens praise.

"I heard you weren't able to practice to often," she continued "is that true?" the queen asked.

"Yes it's true," Diana replied not thinking much of it.

Queen Valeria looked astonished with her reply "How often did you practice?" she asked as they continued trading blow after blow.

"As often as I could, I practiced all types of combat and fighting as well as strategy."

"That's impressive," she complemented as their blows didn't dwindle and everyone around was glued to their every move.
