After a half an hour ride they finally reached a tall pearl white building with flowers growing up its walls and children playing.
Alex dismounted and Diana followed soon after him helping Emma down before Alex tied Luna up to a nearby tree beside Solis.
"This is where the new orphanage is, my parents brought it for them and made sure it was safe, it's larger then the old one." Alex explained as they walked over Emma running over to join some of the children who happily let her.
"Crown Prince Alexander," a middle aged women beamed as she walked towards them a plain, navy dress sweeping around her feet, blonde hair tied into a neat bun and hazel eyes full of kindness. "to what do we owe the visit?"
"Well Ms Rose I thought I'd come and see how everyone is doing and my sister wanted to tag along," Alex explained.
"That's so kind of you," Ms Rose complimented "and might I ask who your beautiful friend is?"
"This is Diana, she saved six of the children during the fire," Alex answered her question.
"It's a pleasure," Diana said politely.
"No my dear, the pleasures all mine. We couldn't get the children out, we were all so worried. If it wasn't for you they would have surely perished." Ms Rose explained with a sweet smile.
"It's her!" Diana heard someone say before she was thrown to the floor, four young children hugging her tightly.
"It's you! Isn't it? You save us!" the little boy with glasses beamed.
"Yes I did save you," Diana replied smiling as she sat up, their arms still holding her tightly.
"Thank you so much," the pigtailed girl cried.
"What's your name?" the smaller boy asked.
"I'm Diana,"
"Thank you Diana you saved us all," the other girl said her hair in two braids.
"There's no need to thank me, how's your ankle?" Diana asked.
"Much better, it barely ever hurts," she smiled.
"I'm glad, and how are are the babies?"
"They're great," the smaller boy chimed in "we're about to go see them, want to come?"
Giggling Diana replied "I'd love to." They quickly got to their feet and as soon as they stood up they dragged her inside. Alex and Ms Rose following behind them as they walked upstairs to the second floor.
"In here," the pigtailed girl said "oh and I'm Meldy by the way and my sister is Milly."
"I'm Ben and my brother is called Ken," the small boy said as his brother opened the door.
Inside the room are ten cribs five with baby boys wrapped in sky blue blankets and the other five holding five baby girls wrapped in cotton candy pink blankets. Along the side of the room are four chests of draws.
"Their over here," Ken explained guiding Diana over to, two babies.
"Her name is Zoe, Ms Rose tells us that in Greek it means life." Milly explained smilimg up at her. As Diana looked down at Zoe a smile painted over Zoe's face as she reached towards Diana.
"Why don't you hold her?" Ben offered
"Can I?" Diana asked stroking a stray strand of ginger hair out of the girls face.
"Of course," Meldy reassured and after a moment Diana picked up the baby girl cradling Zoe in her arms.
"And her brothers name is David," Ken explained picking him up and placing him in Dianas right arm.
A smile painting Dianas lips as she cradles the two babies and they slowly drift off to sleep.
"We all owe you our lives," Meldy said smiling
"You owe me nothing, I only did what anyone else would have done." Diana replied smiling down at them as they looked up at her with glittering eyes.
"But-" Milly tried to continue.
"No but's," Diana said cutting Milly off before she could continue.
"Diana is to stubborn to except anyones thanks or even believed that the people who she saves owe her anything." Alex said from the doorway where he and Ms Rose are standing.
"Children, aren't you suppose to be helping prepare lunch?" Ms Rose said smiling from the doorway.
"Oh yeah," Ken said.
"I completely forgot," Meldy giggled.
"Let's go," Ben added walking over to the door.
"Diana, will you join us for lunch?" Milly asked holding Diana's leg and looking up at her hopefully.
"Of course," Diana smiled.
"And Crown Prince Alexander will to?" Ben asked.
"Yes, I will be staying as well." Alex reassured causing all the children to cheer before they ran out the room and down the stairs.
"Sorry if their a bit much," Ms Rose apologised.
"Not at all," Diana replied still smiling.
"I'll hold Zoe for a while so your arm doesn't get tired," Alex said walking over to Diana and carefully taking Zoe.She adjusted David in her arms to balance out his weight and make him more comfortable.
'I think they'll end up a lot closer then friends in the future' Ms Rose thought to herself smiling.
Around five minutes later they put the babies back in their cribs and headed down for lunch.
"How are all the other children doing?" Diana asked as they headed down the stairs.
"It was hard for all of them, many of them lost something important in the fire but luckily none of them lost their lives thanks to you." Ms Rose explained as a few of the children ran past them heading for lunch "It seems however, not even a fire can stop them from being happy."
"I'm glad they all made it out," Diana said relieved.
"Look it's the crown prince!" one child said.
"Is that a princess with him?" another girl asked.
"No I think she's the Knight known as Spe remember everyone said she supposedly has silver, wavy hair. It has to be her!" the third girl said.
"The Knight Spe?" Diana asked.
"It seems you made a name for yourself in battle and some knights started calling you the Knight Spe and other people who learned about you did the same. So now people know you as the Knight Spe even if they don't know who that name belongs too." Alex explained "I thought you knew."
"No, I didn't. So they're referring to me as the Kinight Spe, and in Latin spe means hope," Diana mused.
"So technically they're actually referring to you as the Knight of Hope," Ms Rose clarified with a smile.
"It's actually a little amusing," Diana smiled "afterall I stopped believing in hope a long time a go."
"Why's that?"Ms Rose asked curiously.
"Hope just leaves you even more broken and hope alone can't do anything," Diana explained.
"And yet hope is what drives people and gives them something to fight for," Alex added.
