The King's Palace

They all kept close to Andre except for carefree Jivan. The last thing they needed was to attract any attention so they slightly hid their faces as they walked past the passersby. For some reason they still had eyes watching them. They did dress strangely compared to the villagers. The villagers dressed as if they were from a typical sixteenth century rural village in England. It truly felt as if they went back in time. No one seemed to approach them though and this was all they wanted. They did not run to attract attention so they took their time.

They walked past all the street vendors shouting their offers and Jivan seemed to be attracted by each one of them but they had no time to waste and contined moving on. After a few minutes of walking filled with anxiety with all the heavy gazes that they could feel, they finally arrived at the grand palace of king Kayode.

Jivan and Andre walked in with no problems but the rest of them were stopped by the guards at the entance.

"Where do you think you're going? No entrance into the King's Palace without an invitation. You know the rules," the terrifyingly buff guard said.

"They're with me," Andre let them know.

The guards let everyone in. Everyone was confused about how Andre got them in so easily. Everyone just accepted the fact that Jivan has been here for less than a day and yet he is already friends with the king and all his servants. Jivan was very outgoing and was considered goofy so this was expected of him.

There was a vast garden filled with flowers of all kinds with they colours of the rainbow. In the middle of the of the garden was a path made of smooth stone slabs. The path lead to a wide staircase that lead to a massive entance. It was like nothing they have ever seen in real life. They stopped and stared in awe but Jivan and Andre already started casually walking up the stairs unfazed.

They came to their senses and proceeded to catch up with Andre and Jivan. When they all arrived at the top of the stairs, King Kayode awaited them at the entrance. Kayode was tall even in his human form. He was more than six feet tall and quite intimidating. He had long white hair which complemented his beard which reached down to his chest. The crown on his head shone with jewels of all different colours. There was a large gem in the center of it that seemed to be a dark purple zirconia stone. Eventhough the village seemed primitive, there was more technology than what first meets the eye.

"My son!" The king said to Andre.

Everyone turned to Andre, shook. Andre was the King's only son and King Kayode loved Andre very much. Andre's mother died when he was young and all King Kayode had left was his only son.

"Hi dad," Andre said hopng his father does not embarrass him.

"Why are you always running off like that and what happened to you over there!?" King Kayode exclaimed while pointing to the very visible wounds on Andre.

Andre loved exploring the human world. He had access to things that he did not have down here In this place that they did not know the name of yet.

Once Andre decided to sneak out to get a taste of the big world, all he wanted was more. There was so much to learn and everything fascinated him.

"I know you were in the human world. You managed to infect someone as well! This hasn't happened in decades. You risked the entire underground world!" He shouted and his loving tone changed to a stricter demeanor.

Andre could not stop apologising after that and was only interrupted by Zane who was the only one of them that thought of the most important question to ask at this time.

"I'm still confused by how Jivan was 'infected' as you said. Can you explain?" Zane inquired.

King Kayode explained that the only way to become infected was to get Lycanthrope DNA in your blood and that from his investigation Jivan must've gotten it through the cut in his hand. The fur that Jivan was investigating somehow got some of it cells into Jivan's cut and into his blood altering Jivan's DNA.

"This still doesn't explain why I would hurt John or have no recollection of memory" Jivan said in dismay

"Not even I have full control over it and I was born like this. When I'm down here my father manages to control me by transforming and wearing me out" Andre said.

King Kayode filled them in one detail they overlooked. He explained that he knew andre was missing and so sent out a search team to find him and bring him back home. While in the human world, the team saw Jivan and captured him and brought him back. He further explained that they were only welcomed here because Jivan needed help. They we all in agreement even if they did not know it. They all knew that they had to fix Jivan and fast.

"How exactly are we gonna return Jivan to normal?" Justyn asked hoping for an easy way out of this since they had more problems than just jivan. The government was after them and they did not know what to do about that yet.

"Unfortunately it's not gonna be easy. This hasn't happened in decades and the las set people it happenedd to currently live down here. In order to reverse this you are going to need the power of more than one of the 7 sacred stones given to us by the Gods. Not all but you need four of them. you're gonna need the stones of life, the mind, the souland time," The great King Kayode said.

He told them that they should go off to find these stones if they want Jivan to return to normal. There was no other known way. The King said that he would stay back and watch Jivan and tend to John's wound. The rest of them were on a mission. The King made Andre go along since this whole situation was his fault. Justin was somewhat thrilled for a little adventure.

The king explained that each stone was guarded somewhere and that they needed to find it and take it. He said that the first sstone that they were going to have to look for was hidden in the human world. It was on St.Edward the confessor's crown in England.
