Late Night Visit.

Walking past people on the road, Brittney looked around, her eyes wide and scared. She was looking for a place to stay and soon found a hole-in-the-wall hotel. Checking in and entering the room, she quickly shut all the windows and sealed the door. 

Her knives were in reach and one was on her at all times. After checking the entire room twice, she finally relaxed and sat down on the couch. 

"Gosh," she muttered to herself and rubbed her face with her palms. She had bought some contraptions that were said to help with locking windows and had checked them at least thrice. 

Roaming around the city wasn't as dangerous as sitting in a hotel room was. Even around the city, she made sure to stay in crowded places, where she couldn't be taken away or killed without people seeing. The only thing that she was afraid of was that Kore would get angrier and would eventually kill her in public.
