I've been at camp for two months, in the time of being here I have:
1. Been claimed by dad (aka Hades).
2. Found a sword that transforms into a bracelet.
3. Faced a real monster, nearly got killed, a friend saved me.
4. Now scarred from said monster.
5. Nearly died because of a pegasus.
And a lot of other things. I hope you're doing well mum, I miss you, love Peck. (P.S.) I'll visit you as soon as I can.
I texted my mom, I had to leave camp and walk far from camp to the nearest gas station. Thank the gods I hadn't run into any monsters. I walked out of the gas station playing This is Home by Cavetown on repeat, I knew it was a risk but I was perfectly capable to fight off a monster. I wore my black sweater that was ripped by the monster that I had run into only a few weeks before. I also wore black jeans and a black beanie.
A mother and her child sat down next to me as they waited for the bus. I was just sitting down because my legs ached from the long walk.
The little girl tugged at my sleeve and I looked over. The little girl was wearing bright blue jeans and a pink sweater, she had soft blond hair and dark green eyes. Her mother wore a black jacket and dark blue jeans, she had long blond hair and bright green eyes.
"Need somethin'?" I asked removing my earbuds.
"What happened to your arm?" The girl asked pointing at my scar.
"I got hurt, but I'm fine now," I told her.
"Ok." The girl looked forward
The bus pulled up and the mother and child stood up. I was left alone again as the bus pulled away.
"Best to get back to camp." I sighed and stood up. I dashed across the road and walked back to camp.

By the time I reached camp, it was around 8:20, I had left at 7:00 am. So, I was out for about an hour and twenty minutes. Juniper was waiting at the Amphitheatre for me, reading a book on herbs and medicine. I walked over to her.
"Hey Juniper." I sat down next to her.
"You weren't injured while you were out, right?" She didn't look up from her book.
"Nope."
"Good."
"Whatcha reading?"
"Something on deadly herbs."
"Sounds interesting."
"There's Water hemlock, Belladona and a lot of others."
"Guess that's useful for you to know, whats deadly and what's not deadly."
"Being a child of Apollo anything on herbs or medicine is useful."
"Makes sense."
Juniper put her book down and looked at me. "Did you're mom reply to your text?"
"Not yet, but she knows I'll be busy on a quest or something so I won't respond fast," I replied looking forwards.
A wind blew from behind me sending a chill up my spine. The sun was just making its way over the mountains still. I rubbed my hands together to warm them. Snow blew by as sand does in a desert when the wind picks up.
"Alex left this morning to continue his quest, by the way, it was around seven," I said miserably.
"Let's just hope the gods will protect him," Juniper said quietly.
We sat in silence for a few moments until we heard a squeal and a loud splash from the canoe lake. We jumped to our feet and raced over kicking snow in our wake.
An Aphrodite girl and a Hephaestus boy had tipped their canoe, the Aphrodite girl was splashing about while the Hephaestus boy tried to flip the canoe again.
"Gods, Silena," Juniper muttered smacking her face.
"Leave the canoe, Beckendorf! Swim back, you too Silena!" A kid from the Athena cabin shouted at them.
Beckendorf muttered a curse in ancient greek and started swimming back. Silena followed behind complaining about how cold it was.
"What were you thinking? Going into a canoe is one thing, but going in the middle of fall is just stupid." I snapped as I helped Beckendorf to his feet.
He was wearing blue jeans, a grey sweater over a camp T-shirt and black shoes. His hair was flat against his head.
"It wasn't my idea, Silena asked me to go," Beckendorf replied.
"Ok, I'll go scold Silena then." I walked over to Silena who was surrounded by the other Aphrodite girls.
Silena was drenched in water, water dripped from her clothes. A pink hoodie over her orange Camp Half-Blood shirt, blue jeans and bright pink runners. Her black hair dripped with water while a girl draped a towel over her shoulders.
Fortunately, Juniper got to her before I did. Juniper steered her away from everyone bringing her up to the infirmary. I pushed past the Aphrodite kids and hurried after her. I looked at Juniper and she shook her head indicating for me to not scold her. I reluctantly agreed and put my arm around Silena comforting.
"Its gonna be ok, we'll get you all cleaned up," I said in a calming voice.
Silena didn't reply, her teeth clattered so much she was having trouble saying anything.
Once we reached the infirmary we sat Silena down on a bed. Juniper took out something while I stood a bit away from them while Juniper checked Silena's temperature.
"Grab me a blanket, Peck." Juniper pointed to a pile of blankets.
"Yeah, sure thing." I walked over and grabbed the first blanket on top. A red fluffy blanket with snowflakes decorated over it. "Very festive," I grumbled and carried it over.
I wrapped Silena in the blanket and she stopped shivering, her skin started turning back to its regular peach and her lips reddened a little from its previous purple.
I stepped back from Juniper and Silena. I wondered how the canoe could have tipped, it was almost impossible unless someone panicked and tipped. I shrugged it off and looked out a window, small snow started falling.
