Chapter 98

Asher's POV

Stepping on pack soil was a big relief to my soul.

One of the wolves behind gave a howl that the others cheerily seconded.

I was carrying all the weapons that we didn't make use of.

Yes we didn't use them also equating to the fact that we found an empty camp.

We found the camp alright but it was empty by the time we got there. All attempts to sniff them out were effortless.

What would Jasmine think?

What would my pack think?

I left in a hurry so I could prove something to them and return successful.

But we found nothing except an amateur hunter we had snagged as we were on the journey returning home.

Sally's brown spotted wolf nudged my leg.

Her message was clear.

'Don't worry. There's still hope'

She told me that the whole journey we were running home.

It was past midnight so no one was outside moving around except the guards and patrol officers.
