Lycans Against The World

The next morning I woke up a happy man with my mate in my arms. I smiled even as the sun from the window blinded me.

I stood up carefully unwrapping my arms from Jasmine's body. She sighed as I stood up from the bed her face scrunched before it eased out and she kept sleeping.

I walked towards the other side of the room where the windows were open.

Children were already outside playing in the open field running around and shouting tag. They didn't mind the sun they chased each other while their parents stayed on the nearby benches and picnic table chatting while keeping an eye on their pups.

A week ago anyone was too scared to sleep much less come outside and talk.

We've defeated the enemy and our safety and freedom is guaranteed...for now.

We have to be cautious and not throw it to the wind. Dominic is still out there and whenever he is ready I will be ready to face him once and for all.
