Asher led me out of the room a firm hand on the small of my back. Even though the doors of the sound proof room were closed I could still hear the cries of the woman.

Eden manipulated her and kidnapped her pup.

"I can't believe Eden would do something like that" Asher said once we were under the natural light of the sun.

I knew there was something sinister about her I just didn't know the darkness inside her ran this deep.

"I honestly didn't put it past her"

Asher sighed drawing me closer by putting his arm over my shoulder.

"I never noticed. I feel like a fucking idiot"

I leaned into his side. "It's okay"
