Jason opened the door for laura and closed it for her he went to sit on the driver's seat laura looked at him putting her seat belt on

Their drive was smooth and quiet Laura had no courage to talk

"Your fiance left you behind" he commented out of the blue

Even Though she wanted to scream "he is not his fiancee" she wanted to scream but kept quit

She just said turn left and right for her apartment address  when they arrive  she said thank you  and left

"Do you love him"  she didn't hear him asking, he sighed looking at her retrieving back.

A loud bang woke her up

She runs towards the door opening it and saw Jordan standing with flowers with a guilty face

Ohh my god you almost gave me a heart attack please show mercy on my door she complained

Sorry I was drunk yesterday and I left you alone there he said with a guilty voice

So don't ever ask me to drink with you she said angrily sitting on the sofa Because this person, she loves is misunderstanding her and Jordan's relationship.

Forgive me  Jordan  pleaded

Ok whatever  she said  and shut the door

She went to the bathroom took a shower and made some breakfast and switch on the tv channel which was entertainment news was airing

The celebrity couple spotted on the xxx bar and new twist is a miss. Olson was drinking only orange juice in the bar all are assuming that she is pregnant and giving birth to "heir of Phillips co. Ltd"

What the hell, she never cursed but seeing this, she had this urge to beat up Jordan without a second thought.

She looked for her phone,  there were so many congratulations texts and some missed calls but she dialed Jordan's num but it didn't connect operator said the num was busy

She didn't respond to any texts and receive any calls she simple sat on the sofa with heavy weight as her shoulders slumped

The news channels were kept going on going on for this nonsense news and  suddenly they showed Jordan parents and Lauren parents smiling happily waving towards the camera they announced Jordan and Lauren are getting engaged

Looking at the faces on tv beaming  she felt her whole world crashed down how could this happen she never want to marry him not that he was a bad guy but she never loved him her heart is completely somebody else's but because of  her parent's mentality  and Jordan's  go-to nature  she left nothing but  big emptiness in her heart,
