"Hey, Lou wake up, we're here" I heard Saria say, I stirred and kept my eyes closed but still sat up, "Where are we?" I asked as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, "At my house" She said helping me out if the car. I opened my eyes and was greeted with a big mansion, "You never told me you were rich" I said sleepily, Saria laughed "This is what you get when your a doctor, It pays you well but I think they paid me a bit 𝘁𝗼𝗼 well" she said as she took my hand, she led me towards the front door and stopped. "Are you okay?" I asked as she looked around, "Uh, not really, because my wife isn't really all that fond of children..and she doesn't want a child disrupting her while she works" she explained sadly, I could tell with the gentle look in her eye that she wanted to keep me. "You still have to tell her, right?" I questioned, "Yes, I do or otherwise you'll be back at the hospital or in an orphanage" She said while taking her key out if her purse, as the door unlocked and we walked inside we could hear some very 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 arguing going on. "Oh no" she said fearfully, "What?" I asked as I looked up at her, "Uh, it's nothing, Just wait here okay?" She said while rushing to the only room with a passcode lock on it. As the door shut I looked around and took in the new place that I might be staying in, It was breathtaking, It had a mixture of modern and girly. I looked over to their sofa, It was a leathery black with White, Gold, and Pink pillows, I didn't want to just stand there so I quickly sat down, The commotion from the room calmed down after about 30 minutes, and a mad looking woman came out. She looked at me and glared, "How did you get in here?" She asked in a agitated tone, I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out..This woman was very intimidating with her red eyes and long curly black hair and her eye bags that made her look like some sort of villain. "Lapiz! stop it" Saria said running out of the room, The woman named Lapiz turned to her with a softer expression, "Who's child is this? Why did you bring her here?" She said in a soft but firm tone, "She's Frost's and Dragonite's daughter, I would've brought their son but he's in a coma" She said looking at her feet "Why I'd she here?" Lapiz asked, Saria took a deep breath and looked Lapiz in her eyes. "Because she doesn't have a home, And I don't want her to go to an orphanage! She doesn't deserve that kind of treatment, and you know how they treat kids in that orphanage, its sickening" she explained with determination, Lapiz stared at her fro a moment before sighing, "Fine. she can stay, but she better not disturb me while I'm working, and don't touch anything or we'll have problems, do you understand me?" she asked looking at me, I nodded 'if she's giving me a chance then I might as well listen to her' I thought, She nodded back "Great now if you ladies would excuse me I'm going to take a nap" she said while stomping up the stairs. Saria sat next to me, "Don't worry about her, she'll warm up to you" She said reassuringly, I nodded, "Where am I going to sleep at?" I asked, finally finding my voice again, "Next to our room, but at least 2 or 3 doors down, we don't want you to uh, you know get traumatized by the sounds that escape from these thin walls" She said blushing furiously. "What do you guys do that makes those sounds happen?" I asked innocently "Uh, Adult things! you wouldn't understand" She explained, her face now looking like a tomato, I shrugged and looked around the place "How am I supposed to get around here? this place is huge!" I asked, Saria smiled and ruffled my hair. "How about a house tour?" she asked excitedly, "Yeah!" I exclaimed as I jumped off the sofa, "You're adorable" she said as she led me through the house.
