In the gentlemen's guide, there is certain information, which is covered apparently without reason, it says "When it comes to swords the blacksmith knows best", at first it seems somewhat obvious, even to me and I must admit that I am not the light bulb brighter in the house but it seems obvious at this point that someone who makes swords would know about them for this reason it seems silly that this recommendation exists in the gentlemen's guide.
In red and large letters in the most colorful way possible in order to attract attention and not go unnoticed, that was until the day my father took me to the forge in order to buy my first sword, create a sword. for a novice it is inconceivable, for this reason I had to settle for a second-hand sword.
At first I wanted a shiny sword of those that were on the counter, but on the other hand the blacksmith recommended me a fine sword whose handle seemed worn, this particular weapon did not seem as attractive as those that were on the counter, Father thought that the option given by the blacksmith was the correct one.
For my part I thought that both of them had gone crazy. All over the place there were perfectly respectable swords, and they thought of giving me something that definitely did not look like it for this reason I put my foot on the ground about it, after much discussion between the parties involved that is, the crazy adults VS my person
I was able to get away with it and carry one of the swords that I wanted, as much as it served me (note the sarcasm) said sword broke, not long after it was bought, as you can imagine I had to go back to the blacksmith's shop thinking that "I hope the blacksmith has kept the option he offered me" fortunately he did.
In my interior I think he knew that he would return because the weapon that I insisted on carrying was not the correct one, I returned to the forge ashamed, the giggles and smug looks of my father did not help, the old blacksmith for my luck did not say or hint nothing, he just gave me the gun he had previously recommended and I charge for the purchase.
Some time later this proved its worth by enduring, the training thus proving to be the correct option.
