I began making my way towards the browns household,by the time I reached there the first shades of darkness were already coming in.
I looked around for the secret passage that I often use to sneak in and hang out with Alex.
I quickly moved towards the bear shaped rock and pushed it across until a opening came in sight.
I climbed down the ladder into the rusty, cramped passageway. There was barely enough light for me to see where I was going but I was all too familiar with it so I didn't really need the light.
Couple minutes later I was in Chris's room I saw him reading a book named ' Raising Dave Donovan'.
I snuck up behind him and said " Boo." he jumped off the bed and held his hands in combat mode.
When he saw that it was just me he smacked me across the head "Don't you ever dare do that again!" he whisper-shouted.
I sniffled a laugh and he just shook his eye hiding a smile " What are you doing here? anyways?" he asked raising a brow.
I showed him the letter that was now crumpled up in my sweatshirt's pocket, he looked at it and didn't even look suprise that I was from a great family.
But he did look about the prophecy " Why don't you even look suprise?" I asked.
" I kinda guessed you were apart of one of the great families I just didn't know which one. But now that I think about it the Silver Family was a obvious guess, I was just too naive." he replied
"What! When? How!Why?" I exclaimed I was just beyond confused right now.
" Let me think," Chris said " Your eyes color, hair and skin, your eyes change during the day and the night, daytime it's silver and nighttime grey. Your hair was white before you dyed it black and your skin is well, white."
I guess he had a point, my mother was the one who told me to dye my hair although the roots were starting to show.
And I recently stopped wearing the blue eye contacts, because they sometimes made my eyes hurt and vision blurry.
"I think you have more to tell me? don't you?" Chris asked.
" Fine you caught me, will you be willing to journey beyond URA to find my mother and discover my destiny," I asked him.
I didn't get my hopes up in case he refused and said he couldn't or he just wouldn't. His smile turned into a wide grin as he bowed and said " It would be my pleasure in joining his majesty in his hour of need."
I narrowed and rolled my eyes at his playful behavior.
" But I think the best idea is for us to get a full night sleep before we leave," he said.
" But what about your parents wouldn't they be worried that you're gone and send scouts to find you,"
" Don't worry I run away most time so they'll think it's just another one if my phases," he said
I was tempted to ask him why he ran away so often but it didn't feel like it was my place to know.
After a brief explanation about where we were going I set off back on my way back home, but there was this feeling call it instinct.
It felt as if someone was watching me but when I turned around there presence was gone, That made me speed up my walking until I was in the safe space of my home.
I cleaned up as much as possible and then made my way upstairs towards my bedroom, I couldn't sleep my mind kept drifting to mom.
Early in the morning I heard a knock on the door and I knew that it must have been Chris.
- Timeskip -
Soon we reached Edgewood Creek and we could hear the howling, whauling and cries of the monsters that dwelled inside.
We looked at each other as if asking a silent question, soon we both nodded and made our way inside.
Not even 10 minutes later we were surrounded by monsters, drool was leaking from there mouths.
There were circling us looking for a opening so that they could tear us to pieces.
Soon one that was nearest to me moved to attack me but I shot it with a ' Water Beam'.
But it didn't look like it affected him at all because it soon shook it off and sprinted back into the group that was continuing to circle us.
If only a could activate my marking so that I could summon my soul guardian but I guess I'm just not strong enough yet.
I was about to give up hope when,
" Come forth the noble winged horse, The divine palitan Pegasus!" Chris shouted.
And suddenly he was engulfed in light and when the like cleared Pegasus was glading through the sky.
" Skill activate Skywalker."
Skywalker what the hell is this Chris was breezing through the enemies hitting them all in there vital spots.
All of the monsters were laying on the ground as still as a stone statue.
" Wow.... um what was that?" I asked.
" Oh, you mean the Skywalker thing."
" yes."
" It's really simple to explain, you're soul guardian will give it to you," he said. "Give it to you,"
" Yes when your soul guardian thinks that you've evolve enough it will bestow upon you a skill, Skywalker is the first and weakest skill that I got. But there's also things that only the soul guardian can do like Tornado Wings for Pegasus."
After a while I finally understood him but I couldn't believe that Skywalker was his weakest skill and it looked so powerful.
We continued our way into the forest running into more monster but Chris took care of them only using his magna.
Soon we came upon a cliff and the wind felt like it was whispering in my ears as if trying to tell me a secret message.
Then I finally understood what it was saying 'This is Edgewood Creek, This is where your destiny shall begin."
And one thought accorded to me that this was just the beginning.
Wait for me mother I'm coming for you, just wait.
