Apparently was assisted by this helical staircase; the cramped entrance way, made entirely of gray-tinged granite, matching the wall surrounded this space-saving stairwell that led one's path walking down beyond the conventional surface... walking down deeper than a cellar yet not so much as the underground catacomb, instead the bottom destination wasn't that so aloof - brighter instead it was, despite the confined space resembled to the dungeon one commonly stumbled across in a depth of air-choking space within the thick wall of chilling gray.
