Second Chance Mates

By the time we got to Newyork it was already really late and we had nowhere to go so we stayed in a very cheap motel that I knew about, I had came with my parents each time they had any meeting here so it was easy to get a very cheap motel to sleep in tonight.


When we got to the hotel I signed in for a room and I told Diego to use the bed while I use the floor but he refused so we shared the bed.


I woke up on the morning and ordered some food for Diego and I tacked a piece of paper telling him that I will be back before lunch time so we could eat in a restaurant and that i left to look for an apartment and a job.


Immediately I got outside the place was hot that was what I needed an hot sun over my head and I remembered to take my sun glasses so that I won't be able to be recognized by any of pack members that stays here with their mates who belong to this pack.


I went off for job hunting but has the moon goddess decided my boring life I didn't get one and if we stay in the hotel for another day we will get broke and we will suffer of hunger before I find a reliable job for myself and that is not in my agenda. After trying about 12 shops and restaurants and almost immediately icame out of the last cafe u went to I found a post at a very small cafe where they needed a cook or a coffee maker.


When I got to the cafe I was at first nervous because I could scent werewolfs all around so I had no otherwise choice but to conceal my scent and it indeed was painful for me it felt like I was empty but once Ann came up I felt good and strong well Ann is the name of my wolf. When I got to the counter I met a girl around my age attending to a costumer looking fustrated about answering the woman at her front of her. After she attended to the woman which looked like it took hours before she finished with her, hey what do you want she said smiling to me I could feel the power radiating off her like fire but it was a beta power so I didnt care because I had already conceal my smell "please I saw a poster about needing a waiter" I said immediately I got to her front "okay let me ask you some question and by the way my name is Freda" she replied introducing herself, well is it no bad because we will have to work together in the future and my wolf likes her "and I am Scarlett" I said introducing myself to her "oh scar it is nice to meet you don't worry u already got the job because I can see that you are a very nice person and a fun person to be with, she said smilling happily, so i got the job I was so happy "okay" answered feeling great about myself, with the look on her face you see that she was a nice and trustwordy person.


After spending my whole morning with her I eventually told about myself and she felt sorry and told me not to worry but that the I should not forget thay the main bertas and the alpha blooded person could Smellme which I knew from the begining. And she was a beta's mate so that could answer the power I felt from her.
