Someone in Her Heart

One by one, all the trainees came forward, showed their acting talents of the emotions they felt when they were abandoned by their loved ones. Whether they were lovers, friends, or family members.

While she was waiting for her turn, Velina watched Mira's movements.

This elegant woman was a megastar who had grew her wings into Hollywood.

There was no wonder why the trainees were enchanted by her from a closer distance.

Before long, it was Velina's turn already. She got up from her chair, and she came forward, stood before Mira, and smiled at her genuinely.

"You…" Mira did not continue her sentences. She watched Velina closely and stared at Velina's tag name that was put on her chest.

'Nana'.

"Hello, I'm Nana," she replied quickly.

Mira frowned, "Oh... Okay." She then nodded and did not bother about it any longer, then she invited Velina to show off her acting talent in front of everybody.

Velina took a deep breath, then she closed her eyes.

Time elapsed. People started whispering. Five seconds later, Velina finally opened her two eyes.

Suddenly, the expression on her face changed. She did not say a single word, but people could feel the sadness on her face. Velina did not wrinkle her face nor show an excessively sad expression. She also did not seem to sob at all.

Instantly, the people fell silent at this scene before them.

Velina then closed her eyes slowly, and when she opened them again, tears were flowing out of them.

A single tear rolled down her cheek, and instantly, people felt the chill when they saw her like that.

The sorrow seemed to flow inside of them as well. It was as if they were being electrocuted by seeing the emotions that Velina was expressing.

After that, Velina rubbed her wet cheeks. Her gaze looks tough. But before long, she lowered her face and covered her face with both of her hands.

Two seconds later, Velina pulled back her hands that were covering her face. Now, her facial expression returned to normal.

The people were still silent until Mira Soraya clapped her hands altogether loudly. Before long, thunderous clapping sounds filled the practice room.

They had absolutely no idea, that the person they had just looked down on turned out to have this kind of acting talent.

Velina took a moment to calm her heart back down. Even though her facial expression looked unremarkable from the outside, who would have thought, that, in reality, deep down inside, she was still sad?

It turned out that, after all this time, that person was still in her heart.

After the acting class ended, Velina immediately tidied up her belongings. Then, she immediately left Val Entertainment building and directly headed to the opposite building.

For the last few days, Daniel Garibaldi looked grumpy. He often called his managers for impromptu meetings.

This time, before they all entered the meeting room, they tugged at Aaron's sleeve, asking him what was the meeting for.

Meanwhile, Aaron just shook his head, looking resigned. This made them all break out in cold sweat.

"Plaaaaak"

Daniel threw a proposal document in front of him. The marketing manager broke out in cold sweat, he wiped the sweat off his forehead using a tissue. His hands were shaking, he knew he was in big trouble.

"Is this all a marketing manager can do?"

"I... I am sorry Mr. Garibaldi, the current conditions are difficult..." he said, feeling scared.

"I think the marketing manager is tired of the job. The last few proposals do not seem like they are yours..." Daniel glared at him coldly.

Although he was still relatively young, being the C.E.O of a giant company like this at the age of twenty-seven, Daniel Garibaldi is very competent at his jobs.

When he coldly looked at the managers sitting opposite of him, his cell phone rang. At first, he wanted to ignore the notification, but for some reason, his finger moved to unlock his cellphone using his fingerprint.

He stared widely as he read the notification. Suddenly, he smiled broadly. His aura was completely different from one second ago.

The managers who were sitting in front of him were surprised to see the sudden change in Daniel's expression. The atmosphere that was tense at first, seemed to have disappeared somewhere.

They looked at each other, then looked at Aaron, who had been sitting in the corner of the room.

Being stared at by everyone, Aaron just grinned. He clearly knew the only reason why his boss would act like that.

And, his guess was proven to be correct.

Shortly after Daniel glanced at his cellphone, he immediately ended the meeting.

"Very well. I want you all to submit new proposals for me next week. The meeting is over now!" He said, hurriedly stood up and left the meeting room.

The managers, who had been in a cold sweat, gawked. They simply could not understand the sudden change in the attitude of their president.

They all stared at each other but they were all did not dare to say a word. They were afraid that their boss would change his mind again.

After that, Daniel immediately went to his office room.

The secretaries immediately stood up when they saw his sudden arrival.

"The CEO should still be in the meeting, shouldn't he?" They all stared at each other seeing their CEO that was in a hurry.

Daniel immediately changed his clothes, and before long, he was half-running out of his office, made all of his secretaries surprised, because they had never seen Daniel dressed so casually before.

With a full smile on his face, Daniel glanced at his cellphone. The notification he just received was a piece of information about Velina being at the Velmar Club.
