Mason the hob

While Horgak was expanding his horde there also existed three other hordes that had been created. They had also met the stranger and gotten their own skill books. These greenskins were scattered around the west continent and had started their hordes. Dante however had just become forty and realized that it might take longer than he thought for the reincarnated to kill the demon king.

He has already noticed that there were some reincarnated. He had seen a greenskin mother holding a child that had the number #13. When he saw this he burned down the village and "saved" the child. He chose to save this child because it might be of help to him in the future. He took care of the baby on top of one of the tallest mountains in the western continent in a cabin.

He chose to take care of this child for two reasons the first one was that he wanted to know if they were from the same world and second he wanted to know what types of abilities these reincarnated had. The first month was hard, he realized that it was much harder then he thought to take care of a baby. #13 was quite different compared to other children and was quite weird. It was probably because it was stuck in a baby body.

When he was forty one the child had already begun to act more adult-like but it was quite hard when you were a hobgoblin child. He had also realized that because it had reincarnated as a hobgoblin causing it to age at a rapid speed. By the age of one, the child was already as big as a ten-year-old. The child was fast to learn speaking and he said that he knew it was reincarnated.

#13 upon hearing this was dumbfounded and began explaining itself and its former life. He was supposedly from a planet that had been nuked to the extreme and was in a nuclear winter. The planet was also drained from resources making most of the inhabitants desperate for any food. #13 had been killed when he was looting an abandoned building.

He had also named #13 Mason due to him not wanting to have the same name as before. This was because he had died meaning the only thing keeping his family alive was gone. Probably leading to his family dying. Mason had also never met the god and was only told that his number was 13 and that he would get a random power and be reincarnated.

The power he got was called weight control which would make him able to change the weight of himself and anything he's touching. But he can't just change the weight to a star because he needed to train his ability. He had gotten a quite powerful ability. Dante told Mason that he was going to leave him in four years and continue his journey. He didn't forget to tell Mason about the other reincarnated.

When Dante was forty-five he mysteriously disappeared. Mason upon seeing this realized that he was now five. It felt weird for him to age this fast and he already looked like an adult. So he began his journey down the mountain. It took his one week to go down the mountain was gigantic and the only reason he was able to climb down was that he had been trained by the man.

Dante had never told Mason about his real name due to him not wanting to be recognized if Mason went to the northern continent. Mason's journey started by joining a small village of goblins and hobgoblins. He chose to start with his own race due to their potential.

Goblins and hobgoblins were often seen as weak but they were almost the opposite. Due to them being a former monster race they had the ability to be born as variants. He had been taught this by Dante. Dante had learned of this when he has experimented on goblins. Variants can range from a goblin that can jump higher to being scaled.

Mason quickly fits into the tribe and became a shaman. He had chosen to be the shaman because the greenskin chieftains had to constantly fight off competitors and shamans could just sit on the side and still have high control over the tribe.

The first thing he did when he got into the tribe showed the other goblins and hobgoblins how to farm and domesticate animals. This pushed the tribe to have more power than the other tribes merging them into theirs.
