Too Many Dolls

I quickly opened the door to the room and entered and fast as possible. I slammed the door shut and could feel the pounding of the dolls colliding against the door.

"Why does she have so many dolls at her disposal? Because that this not normal. Hey wait, how is everyone still asleep? Is everyone just a deep sleeper?" I asked myself.

I noticed that the pounding on the door had stopped and tried to take a breather. I noticed that the room all of a sudden got darker and tried to look for the source. I looked at the window and saw that the dolls were now outside.

"Oh come on! How persistent is this kid? All I want is some sleep, so why can't I have any?" I whined.

I left my room and ran towards Stevens room, bursting through without hesitation. Steven lifted his head and looked at me.

"John what the hell? I'm trying to sleep here and you just burst through my door?" Said Steven groggily.

"Sorry about that, but there's a literally ghost outside trying to rather kill me or kick me out of the house. I'm not sure which though, she never told me." I said.

The pounding had returned to the door but this time much stronger. It got to the point where the door broke off causing all the dolls to break through.

"Jump out the window, we need to find someone who can stop this kind of thing!" I yelled.

I grabbed onto Stevens wrist and turned him towards the direction of the window. We both jumped out and rolled to cushion our fall.

"John, what about the others? They're our friends so we need to save them." Said Steven.

"Ok listen, you go to the inn and see if someone can stop this. I on the other hand, will go back in and try and save everyone." I said.

I turned back to face the house and ran towards the door. I went to open it but realized something, I had locked it. 'Looks like I'm gonna be paying for a replacement window.' I thought to myself.

I ran threw a window, breaking it on impact. The living room was empty which caused me to stay on guard. I reached for my sword but felt nothing. 'Darn it, I must have dropped my bag in Stevens room. My only weapon was in that bag.' I thought.

"You should have run away just like that Steven kid, you might have actually survived if you did." The ghosts voice echoed through the room.

I looked around the room to see where the voice had came from, but saw nothing. I slowly made my way towards the stairs but stopped when I saw a doll peek its head out.

"Guess I won't be going upstairs anything soon. Maybe there's some secret room or something? Doubt it though, that would be way to convenient." I said to myself.

I walked towards a wall and leaned on it. A small click noise came from the other side causing me to turn around.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me."
