Absolutely Crazy

"You're kidding me…" I said, watching Ichiro and everyone else fighting the same type of giants me and Alice were running away from.

This certainly explained why Alice refused to give me details on the quest we were performing. I didn't even know how to activate my aura yet so this fight wasn't going to be any easier than last time.

I used Genki to dodge one of the giant's attacks and got on top of it. I began to run up it's arm and blasted it in the face with Genki's beam. As expected, it didn't seem to phase the monster all too much.

"Ichiro! How do I activate my aura?" I asked, jumping off the giant so I could dodge another one of its attacks.

I looked over at Ichiro and saw that he was using his aura to dodge and strike the giant he was fighting. Each hit damaged the giant severely. Ichiro suddenly appeared above the giant and had his two hands above his head.

"Thunder Strike!" He yelled, throwing his hands downwards.

A large thunderbolt shot out from his hands and was a direct hit on the giant. The giant fell to its knees before collapsing on the ground.

"You just have to feel it, John." Ichiro said, landing on the ground.

That didn't help me at all. Was I just supposed to clear my mind and think about using my aura? I didn't have much of a choice and decided to risk it.

I took a deep breath and cleared my mind. In the dark void that was my mind I saw one thing. Flames. The power I had once felt before had finally returned, though this time it didn't feel as strong. I opened my eyes and saw my aura surrounding my body.

A giant attempted to strike me with a giant club but with a single slash, I cut the thing in half. I took another breath as I jumped right in front of the giant's face and delivered a large slash causing the monster to recoil back in pain.

"Nice cut, Genki." I said, still looking at the giant.

"Don't mention it." Genki responded.

I moved my eyes towards Alice and saw that she was handling her giant fine even without her aura. I then looked over at Akio and saw that he seemed to be managing fine with his own aura, that being earth.
