Warning

"That's a Genmochi!" Ichiro yelled, taking a step back and falling off the tree branch we were on.

I was about to jump down and help him but he somehow managed to jump right back up without a scratch on him.

"Did I not tell you I have one?" I asked.

Ichiro shook his head, "Not to my recollection."

I gave Genki a nod before sheathing him.

Alice, Akio, and the giant all ran out and saw what we had done. They all stood there in shock for a moment before looking around, presumably for us.

I shot my hook at the branch and jumped down from the tree. All three of them looked at me with different facial expressions. I released my hook and turned around to watch Ichiro jump off. I was curious to how he didn't seem hurt when he fell off the tree.

Without hesitation, Ichiro jumped off the tree and landed on the ground. The impact from him hitting the ground caused dirt to get on me. I gave him an unamused look before turning back towards the others.

"How in the world did you two deal with all five of the giants?" The giant asked.

I unsheathed Genki and showed it to him. He observed it for awhile before finally backing off.

"I'm tired, can you please put me back in my sheathe?" Genki asked.

"Yeah, sorry." I said, doing what Genki asked of me.

"Well thanks for the help, I really don't know how to pay you back for this." The giant said.

"There's no need for that." Alice said.

We all nodded which made the giant lower his head a little. The crackling of thunder caused me to quickly look up and see that the sky was covered in grey clouds.

"We're gonna continue heading towards the Giant King's base now. Take care!" Ichiro yelled, waving goodbye at the giant as we all walked away.

"Wait, stop!" The giant yelled.

We all turned around and looked at him. His face showed the emotion of fear. He was even visibly shaking. Was the Giant King strong enough to make another giant shake just by the mention of his name?

"There's no way only four of you can beat him! We've had armies face off against him and get completely annihilated so how can only four of you beat someone like that!" The giant yelled.

I suddenly didn't feel too good about doing this quest. I know I didn't want to do this quest to begin with but after hearing that I just wanted to straight up abandon it.

"Good, I've been looking for a challenge." Ichiro said, punching his open hand with a large grin on his face.
