An Adventure Awaits

"Hey Megumi, you don't have to hide behind the tree anymore." I said, waving her out.

Katsu gave me the same look that he gave Akira when he mentioned the three of us being here.

"So since you're all here I can finally ask you my question." Akira said.

Question?

"There's a dungeon close by that looks really easy. I thought it would be a good idea to see how you three would do in it." Akira said, walking closer to us.

A dungeon? That sounded like fun to me. I looked over at Katsu and he seemed just as excited as me. Even Megumi seemed somewhat excited.

"With the expressions on your faces I can tell what all of your answers all. Very well, allow me to make a portal that leads you all there." Akira said.

Akira began changing some spell and move his hands in a circular motion. As the spell continued we could see the portal being made. I've only seen him do this once before and that was just so he could grab something that he left at home.

After a couple minutes of waiting, the portal has been completed. What did it feel like going into it? Only one way to find out I guess.

"Can we enter now?" I asked.

Akira nodded his head and moved to the side of the portal. Katsu and I both nodded at each other and ran headfirst into the portal.

We were in a blue spiral for a moment before suddenly appearing in front of what looked like some old ruins.

"Woah! This place looks awesome!" Katsu said excitedly.

It wasn't long before Megumi and Akira popped out from the portal behind us.

"So where's the entrance to the dungeon?" I asked, looking around the area.

"I'm only hear to help you get back home. All three of you are going to find and complete the dungeon by yourself." Akira answered.

That made sense to me. People wouldn't normally tell you where a dungeon is so it made sense that we had to find it ourselves.

I looked over at where I last saw Katsu so I could talk to him but saw that he was gone. Well this is just great.
