"Why did you bring us to a waterfall?" The merchant asked.
"Well they had to hide the ship somewhere so maybe there's a secret passage behind the waterfall." I said, taking my sword out of its sheathe.
The merchant raised his eyebrow, "what are you gonna do? Cut the waterfall?"
The merchant began to laugh but was stopped by Emma tugging on his shoulder. The smile on his face left and now was replaced with one of interest.
With one great slash, I struck the waterfall in two. Though instead of going back to normal, the entire thing turned to smoke and revealed a small entrance that was guarded by two pirates.
"How in the?" One of the pirates said, pointing towards the merchant.
"Get him!" The other pirate shouted.
The merchant quickly looked around trying to find us but realized that both Emma and I were hiding behind a rock. The merchant became stone faced as he looked directly at us.
Without saying a word, the merchant took off running. The pirates soon chased after him but with how fast the merchant was running, it'd take a while for them to catch up.
"Well at least the entrance is unguarded now." I said, slowly moving towards the entrance.
The two of us ran into the cave and went down the dim pathway. The only light source was the occasional torch but as we ran further in I noticed a bright light at the end of the pathway.
Right after entering the new room, I grabbed Emma and brought her down on the floor as to avoid anyone seeing us. Below us was what seemed to be a dining hall that was filled with pirates. At the far end was a door which practically screamed that it was important.
"Emma, any ideas as to what to do next?" I asked, looking over my shoulder at her.
"They probably took everyone's weapons and brought them to some kind of treasure room. We should find that first." She answered, pointing towards the hallway next to us.
"All right then. Let's go steal back what was rightfully ours."
