Beyond Earth

"So how did you become an infected?" Mitomi asked Cilla in the backseat and I glanced at them through the rear view mirror.

"I got scratched by someone I thought was drunk," Cilla replied.

We told them Cilla was a stalker before we began our journey to the stronghold Lorenzo, Viviana and Mitomi stayed in. We had thought they'd be shocked after we told them but they weren't. Apparently, they had three stalkers in their stronghold and Lorenzo said they helped keep infected away. The stalkers in their stronghold liked to be alone so they had thought Cilla wasn't staying in the same house with us for that reason and we didn't correct them. No one had felt the need to mention it but they were definitely going to find out when we get to our destination.
