Beyond Earth

"You've been in there with Ezra all day. Shouldn't you guys come out now?" Cheri asked and Viviana ignored her, walking away from the doorway.

Cheri shook her head and handed me one of the chocolate bars she was holding while Clareta collapsed onto the pile of duvets on the ground. Jack trotted over to her and nudged her with his nose before she raised a hand and patted his head as she rolled onto her back. Alison grabbed another pack of cookies and a can of soda before sitting next to me on the couch and calling Jack over. A blue glow filled the room after Mitomi turned on the TV and I moved from the couch to the floor as Mitomi, Hae In and Faye began to talk about the movie we should watch. Zeke was lying on a couch with his ankles crossed while Kyle and Kayden were on the pile of duvets next to Clareta.

"You are not staying with us" Cheri announced and I looked up to see Lorenzo next to the doorway.
