It's the year 2280. Airborne particles were invented with the intent to eradicate diseases but instead they become radioactive, toxic and severely deadly to anyone who breathes in even a tiny amount.

With time running out for humans on earth, Hiro Tachibana is one of the scientists that has to find out if a new planet is fit for habitation. But when people start turning up dead on the spaceship and there are more questions than answers, Hiro realizes that he may not be able to trust anyone.

Beyond Earth

I realized I was no longer in the living room but in a bedroom when I woke up. Moonlight streamed into the room from the windows that had their curtains pulled back and a duvet was covering me. There was an arm wrapped around my waist and I rubbed my eyes, letting out a yawn, as I glanced to my right to see Daniel sleeping next to me. He had probably carried me here after the movie ended.

My throat and mouth were dry and it felt like I hadn't drank water in days. Swallowing didn't help and I decided to go get water from the living room when I remembered there had been bottles of water on the centre table. I slowly removed his arm from my waist so as not to wake him and moved away from his side before I placed his arm on the bed.

He groaned and rolled onto his back as I got down from the bed. "Enny," he called out in a groggy voice and I glanced back to see his eyes wide open. "Where are you going?"
