Chapter 90

I didn't think the army would be able to help because for them to come over, they would have to have a plan and I didn't believe they had one. It would take days, weeks or even months to come up with a foolproof plan that would end the reign of the infected on the world.

Everyone was in the bunkers now, including the guards that were meant to be in the elevated guard posts. The gates had been locked and the lights in all the buildings in the stronghold were off. Dean, Cilla, Rudy and Curt got a satellite phone in order to be able to communicate with Carina because they were now our eyes and ears outside.

Carina had been constantly calling the four stalkers outside the stronghold to get updates about the horde. She had also been sending a couple of people outside the bunker to check once in a while. The four stalkers were going to stay in the houses and not in the bunker because the infected wouldn't kill them and because Ezra's scent was all over the stronghold.
