It's the year 2280. Airborne particles were invented with the intent to eradicate diseases but instead they become radioactive, toxic and severely deadly to anyone who breathes in even a tiny amount.

With time running out for humans on earth, Hiro Tachibana is one of the scientists that has to find out if a new planet is fit for habitation. But when people start turning up dead on the spaceship and there are more questions than answers, Hiro realizes that he may not be able to trust anyone.

Beyond Earth

I immediately got to my knees and swivelled my head sideways to see who had shot him. Zeke was the only one that had a raised gun in his hand and his eyes were wide open as almost everyone stared at him.

"You just shot him!" bandit one yelled, shattering the silence that had settled on the street with the tact of a hammer and I glanced at the man that was still sputtering blood on the floor.

He looked scared and was obviously in a lot of pain. The dark veins in his neck were now moving quicker since his heart was beating rapidly. He was going to die any moment from now and come back as an infected. My eyes darted to the gun that lay directly next to me and bandit two's eyes widened even more when he saw me grab the gun.

"Don't!" bandit one called out but I aimed the gun and pulled the trigger.
