The hospital was bustling with movement. Everyone seemed to be preoccupied with their own miseries to realize the sufferings of those sitting next to them. Elias stood in the waiting room, waiting for Sarah's parents who came through the door their eyes scanning the room for them.


As soon as they arrived at the hospital and Sarah and Adam were wheeled in to be treated, Austin called informing Elias that his and Sarah's parents were on their way to the hospital. He braced himself for meeting them for the first time since his fall down with Sarah, he was ready for the confrontation, explanation, and apologies. but he wasn't ready for what her mother did...


as soon as they spotted him, Sarah's mother made a beeline for him and threw her arms around him in a tight hug. Elias returned her hug not knowing what to do.
